In 2019 I decided to get the iPhone 11 Pro Max a few months after it came out (July). I decided to do a 2 year lease on it which cost $39.59 per month, just tacked on to each monthly phone bill. In April of 2020, T-Mobile buys Sprint, the carrier I purchased the phone through. My lease is still not completely paid, so I keep making payments. T-Mobile owned Sprint when my lease payment should have been removed from my bill. Fast forward to today, February 1st, 2024. I'm looking over my bill details and I notice that there's a charge on there that doesn't include my iPhone's protection plan stating that it's for leases. Confused, I check the leases tab and there are no active leases. I HAVE BEEN PAYING AN EXTRA $39.59 PER MONTH FOR 30 MONTHS ($1,187) FOR A PHONE THAT IS ALREADY PAID OFF. I call customer service and a very professional young lady named Diamond helps me, she tells me that they had to manually remove so many lease charges from people's bills. I asked if I could be refunded for these extra charges and she tells me that she can only refund 2 months worth of payments (under $80). I understand that she has protocols that will not allow me to talk with her supervisor so I don't even know why I bothered asking. I made sure to be really nice to her because at the end of the day, it's not HER who's been pocketing the equivalent of an extra YEAR'S WORTH OF PHONE BILLS from me. I have called customer service several times over the past few years for help on a few things, there have been PLENTY of times that they could have spotted this error. I am so upset about this and will be switching to a different phone company by February 21st (the day my bill is due) if I am not made whole. I advise anyone thinking of switching to T-Mobile to think twice about it, seeing as they clearly have no issue taking the hard-earned money that is not owed to them.96Visto0likes1ComentarioSprint phone Buyout not honored.
Per SprintFlex Lease agreement Expectation: Pay for your phone in monthly installments and after 18 months, you can upgrade to a new device or continue paying for 6 more months to own your device. I have had my phone for more than two years. I have contacted Sprint and T-Mobile more than five times regarding this issue, I have had T-Mobile's reps including a supervisor get mad at me because I am refusing to upgrade my phone… I own this phone and have been told that the system wasfixed now I don't have service...I will give you the $30 for a phone that I own and then go get service from a new carrier later today, I am in the process of filing a complaint. So I've been having issues for 2 years with my device mainly with backups/calls and texts/app notification sounds/and unknown changeson my bill/ connecting to hotspot my iPhone 13 needs to be connected to my home wifi to connect another device like it's a modem/router and still uses my Wi-Fi not the cellular data..Basically what I'm starting to think is T-Mobile has me on some kinda data plan for a tablet or watch something like that. possibly a digits line since my number needs a country code like digits showed my number. My bill /account on T-Mobile dosnt show my # with the country code anywhere but digits.And they continue to lie about it , when I get on chat theysay everything is good providing no details no proof of anything their telling meand say one thing then after arguing with me say something different that contradicts what they said first.! Spoke with multiple supervisors that do the same and play gameslike they don't know what I'm asking them or provide information on stuff I'm not asking about and just waste my time saying their looking into the account then 10 minutes later say oh it's looks good or what was the issue.!?They fail to show me my lease on the devices saying their system information is basically my lease so the information on my signed lease doesn't matter cause the system information is right they said. I had a 12pro max on JOD upgraded to the iPhone 13 it moved my number from the 12 to the 13 but kept the device on my account like it was financed and are not removing it it does not have cellular service so why is a leased device on their with no service.!? So now Ihave 2 device under the same line now one has service the other who knows.! And the only way to upgrade or get that 13 was by going in store or turning in the JOD device. They said I did a "standard upgrade" whatever that is.? Theirs only 3 options (upgrade/add a line/or bring own device.) so how was a New device processed under the same JOD line moved over the number from the 12 to the 13 and then left the 12 on my account to pay still.!?81Visto0likes1ComentarioSprint Lease Buy-Out Not Being Honored
I migrated over to T-Mobile Nov. 2021 after being with Sprint since 2012; when I migrated I was told they'd buy out the lease of my Sprint equipmentorget me and my 2nd line the new iPhone at the Northgate T-Mobile store in Seattle, WA. We elected to keep our devices, as they were like-new. CURRENT ISSUE: I'm being billed and harassed by a collector statingI now owe over $1k due to double-billing for Sprint service and a complete lease buy out of two devices? Why isn't the promo being honored? Why am I being billed for devices that aren't on the Sprint network but are actively being paid and up-to-date in my T-Mobile account?
