29 TopicsSwitching from T-Mobile One Amplified to Magenta Max
So I have a question switching plans. I am currently on the T-Mobile One Amplified special plan pricing through my mother's UPS discount scheme (I believe it was a family plan discount). Since then, T-Mobile discontinued the T-Mobile One and One Amplified plans and updated to their Magenta plans. Of course we still are on the old plan with that plan's benefits but I was wondering if we can update our plan to the Magenta Max plan at no additional cost or changes to our bill, especially since the Magenta Max has better features compared to our current T-Mobile One Amplified plan. How can we make the switch if we want to and will we be charged additionally? Do we have to makethe change through UPS? Gracias.7.1KViews0likes2ComentariosHow to redeem Netflix on Magenta MAX plan?
I just switched over from Sprint to T-Mobile today and also got put on the Magenta MAX plan because I was told Netflix is included for free in that. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to redeem it, or if I even can. I see that when I click Netflix under "Included in this plan" it takes me to a page that says "This feature is no longer available." Am I too late to redeem it? Did they lie when I was in the store?2.1KViews0likes2ComentariosSwitching to Magenta Max 55+ for Free Phone upgrade
After about 4 years, I have decided to upgrade our phones. Under the current promotion we get $200 more each for the upgrade if we have Magenta Max. It was not worth the upgrade for the other benefits we will not use, but with the extra upgrade it was worth it. However, it shows the upgrade will not go into effect until my next billing cycle and I'm afraid the upgrade promotion may be expired by then. My question, how long after I initiate the upgrade will it take for the increase upgrade benefit to take effect? Or, can I cancel the upgrade and return to my old plan? Because without the extra $200 trade-in allowance, Magenta Max is not worth the cost to us.1.7KViews0likes1ComentarioWhy does T-Mobile Make Magenta - Military Verification so difficult?
#1 … I used my VA ID to authenticate who I was when I opened my account. Shouldn't that suffice as verification for a Military Magenta Account? #2 … Why does the date of separation in the verification app only go back top 2001? Are there no people who served in the military prior to 2001? Here I am! Living Proof! #3 … If there are specific parameters for uploading proof of service, why are they not listed on the page next to the upload tab/button? Just spell it out … i.e., we accept jpegs, gifs, tifs, & png files up to 1mb in size. Why does it always have to be a guessing game with these tech gurus? Are they not supposed to be "IT Specialists." Is "user friendly" even part of the vernacular at T-Mobile. Likewise, if there are specific documents, that SheerID accepts to verify your Military affiliation, why not spell them out in black and white? Or at least provide a link to the SheerID webpage where they define the criteria for verification of your military service. Having left Verizon for T-Mobile because of their lack of customer service, have I leapt out of the frying pan and into the fire? Am I going to have to prod them every time they fail to see the obvious? Are Mike Sievert, Nestor Cano, Dow Draper, Peter A Ewans, Callie Fields, Jon Fryer, Janice V Kapner, Michael J Katz, Deanne King, Susan Loosemore, David A Miller, Peter Osvaldik, Neville Ray, Abdul Saad, John Saw, Matt Staneff, and Brian King reading this? Or are they asleep at the wheel; complacent and cozy in their comfort zone, feeling no need to improve on their inherited success? https://www.sheerid.com/business/resources/faqs/999Visto0likes4ComentariosPlan changed to Magenta without my permission
I contacted T-Mobile prior to departing the US for a lengthy stay in Europe. I wanted to ensure that my phone was unlocked so that I could use an Italian SIM card while visiting my family there. The agent with whom I spoke found it difficult to verify whether the phone was actually unlocked. She informed me that I would, in any event, be able to get some limited access to the internet while overseas and that she would do follow-up to ensure that the phone was unlocked (I have been a Sprint/T-mobile customer for many years and my prior phone had been unlocked; I wanted to ensure that the new Revvl phone supplied by T-Mobile was also unlocked). When I arrived in Europe, I was able to access the internet. However, shortly after arriving I received notification that my auto-pay was set to pay a bill that was significantly higher than usual. My previous bills had been for $90 a month; this was for $150 circa. I have since received a second bill at the higher rate. I have now discovered that my plan was switched to Magenta without my permission and that this was the reason for the higher charge. Although I understand that Magenta provides greater internet coverage and global service, I wanted to use a foreign SIM card and NOT upgrade to Magenta. Have others had their plan changed without permission? Is it possible to get the higher charge reimbursed and the plan switched back?725Visto0likes5ComentariosTrade in benefits on new Go5G Plus
I'm currently on Magenta amplified familyplanbut now i don't see any big difference betweenGo5G Plus plan and now i was looking to buy a phone with trade in but cant get full benefit of deal. What a total BS , magenta plan is retired and now to get trade in benefits i need to upgrade toGo5G plans to avail all benefits. Planning to buy flip 5 , with flip 3 trade in , now withGo5G plan i would get $1000 as trade in credit but now magenta is not there i can't get that same benefit for trade in... I feel if i'm not max plan previously i should at least get the latest plan benefits as there is no significant difference in plan benefits but huge difference in price. Been with T-Mobile for 9 years now. Any one else feel same ? Any way to get those trade in benefits without changing plan to Go5G.629Visto0likes0ComentariosAutopay discount $5
I signed up for the Magenta 55+ with 3 lines. All the online pricing quotes show final price of $120 and then $105 with $15 autopay applied (3 lines @ $5 each). In store it was confirmed. The next day, after signup, I log onto T-Mobile and the pricing show $110 ($120-$10 autopay discount). I called the T-Mobile store and representative that help me signup confirmed should be $105 and I should wait for the bill to see if it changes. I was in the store again today and the store manager confirmed should be $105 with $15 discount not $10. She mentioned she had never seen that happen before. She also suggested waiting until the bill is generated. So, I get home and receive a text message that the bill is available and as expected Total Due $110 (not $105) including a $10 autopay discount. Account shows 3 active lines being charged: 2 Lines $70 and 3rd Line $40.Solved574Visto0likes9Comentarios
