I have had Magenta Max since Dec 2022 The service stopped working in May 2024. I stopped getting my unlimited data and cell service. I reported loss of service and did multiple rounds of technical support from mid May to June to fix it. They did not. I didn't have service for almost a month when istopped Autopay in June and announced suspension of my account because I wasn't getting service. Customer service has been despicable since then. I submitted dozens of attachment proofs to customer service and customer service refused to acknowledge any of evidence taken from May to July. They insisted I owed them money for May-July I notified the company that they have voided the contract and I asked for my phone to be unlocked. Ihaven't had phone service since May, I NEED to find a legitimate phone carrier. T-Mobile has continued to charge me for June and July despite not having Magenta Max for over 2 monthes. I haven't had unlimited data or cell service since May and they cut off my amenities in June. They continue to charge me 2 and a half months since I last had service Customer service says the charges are valid on my voided contract and refuse to unlock my phone. Anyone have success getting all their evidence of T-Mobile fraud recognized and having your illegitimate charges taken off? How have you dealt with T-Mobile holding your property hostage and shaking you down stealing from you?39Visto0likes0ComentariosCFO Chief Financial Officer- Peter Osvaldik
Dear Mr. Peter Osvaldik T-Mobile CFO I have had T-Mobile as my one and only mobile provider for more than 20 years. So long, in fact, that some of my records have been archived. I see no reason to have to give you a Debit Card number or my checking account information, just to continue to participate in Auto Pay. Your company has been hacked multiple times, and my information has been compromised at least once! To give your company information that could possibly end up in the wrong hands, and if this happens, the 'wrong hands' could possibly divest me of a huge amount, if not all of my hard-earned money. I have been using the same credit card for my Auto Pay for many years. Please explain why I should jeopardize my financial situation, while making both of our lives easier (I would think) by using Auto Pay.85Visto0likes1ComentarioPlan changed to Magenta without my permission
I contacted T-Mobile prior to departing the US for a lengthy stay in Europe. I wanted to ensure that my phone was unlocked so that I could use an Italian SIM card while visiting my family there. The agent with whom I spoke found it difficult to verify whether the phone was actually unlocked. She informed me that I would, in any event, be able to get some limited access to the internet while overseas and that she would do follow-up to ensure that the phone was unlocked (I have been a Sprint/T-mobile customer for many years and my prior phone had been unlocked; I wanted to ensure that the new Revvl phone supplied by T-Mobile was also unlocked). When I arrived in Europe, I was able to access the internet. However, shortly after arriving I received notification that my auto-pay was set to pay a bill that was significantly higher than usual. My previous bills had been for $90 a month; this was for $150 circa. I have since received a second bill at the higher rate. I have now discovered that my plan was switched to Magenta without my permission and that this was the reason for the higher charge. Although I understand that Magenta provides greater internet coverage and global service, I wanted to use a foreign SIM card and NOT upgrade to Magenta. Have others had their plan changed without permission? Is it possible to get the higher charge reimbursed and the plan switched back?766Visto0likes5ComentariosAutopay discount $5
I signed up for the Magenta 55+ with 3 lines. All the online pricing quotes show final price of $120 and then $105 with $15 autopay applied (3 lines @ $5 each). In store it was confirmed. The next day, after signup, I log onto T-Mobile and the pricing show $110 ($120-$10 autopay discount). I called the T-Mobile store and representative that help me signup confirmed should be $105 and I should wait for the bill to see if it changes. I was in the store again today and the store manager confirmed should be $105 with $15 discount not $10. She mentioned she had never seen that happen before. She also suggested waiting until the bill is generated. So, I get home and receive a text message that the bill is available and as expected Total Due $110 (not $105) including a $10 autopay discount. Account shows 3 active lines being charged: 2 Lines $70 and 3rd Line $40.Solved618Visto0likes9ComentariosWhat is "Magenta"?
Hi, just a quick one. This is my first time with a phone number in the USA. I have an e-sim. When getting the e-sim, I spoke to an agent on phone who did everything! She reaffirmed that I was getting a prepaid service after I asked (to make sure) various times! She said with the Magenta "plan" I was getting this and that! I asked again: is it a plan or isit prepaid? She said it was prepaid! So my question is , I am getting notifications that my "plan" payment is due in a few days... is Magenta a prepaid service? Or can I pay when I have the money? Thank you beforehand!!95Visto0likes1ComentarioWhy does T-Mobile Make Magenta - Military Verification so difficult?
#1 … I used my VA ID to authenticate who I was when I opened my account. Shouldn't that suffice as verification for a Military Magenta Account? #2 … Why does the date of separation in the verification app only go back top 2001? Are there no people who served in the military prior to 2001? Here I am! Living Proof! #3 … If there are specific parameters for uploading proof of service, why are they not listed on the page next to the upload tab/button? Just spell it out … i.e., we accept jpegs, gifs, tifs, & png files up to 1mb in size. Why does it always have to be a guessing game with these tech gurus? Are they not supposed to be "IT Specialists." Is "user friendly" even part of the vernacular at T-Mobile. Likewise, if there are specific documents, that SheerID accepts to verify your Military affiliation, why not spell them out in black and white? Or at least provide a link to the SheerID webpage where they define the criteria for verification of your military service. Having left Verizon for T-Mobile because of their lack of customer service, have I leapt out of the frying pan and into the fire? Am I going to have to prod them every time they fail to see the obvious? Are Mike Sievert, Nestor Cano, Dow Draper, Peter A Ewans, Callie Fields, Jon Fryer, Janice V Kapner, Michael J Katz, Deanne King, Susan Loosemore, David A Miller, Peter Osvaldik, Neville Ray, Abdul Saad, John Saw, Matt Staneff, and Brian King reading this? Or are they asleep at the wheel; complacent and cozy in their comfort zone, feeling no need to improve on their inherited success? https://www.sheerid.com/business/resources/faqs/1KViews0likes4ComentariosSimple Choice, considering Magenta
I currently have the Simple Choice plan with 6 phone lines and 3 connected devices. 1 phone line and 1 tablet was part of the Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us deal. I see that Magenta will be $160/month for the 6 phone lines, but how much will the 3 connected devices cost? I'm currently paying $20 for 3 connected devices since 1 of those connected devices is part of 2 Lines On Us deal.432Visto0likes3ComentariosHow to redeem Netflix on Magenta MAX plan?
I just switched over from Sprint to T-Mobile today and also got put on the Magenta MAX plan because I was told Netflix is included for free in that. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to redeem it, or if I even can. I see that when I click Netflix under "Included in this plan" it takes me to a page that says "This feature is no longer available." Am I too late to redeem it? Did they lie when I was in the store?2.1KViews0likes2Comentarios
