Hello everyone! I am in desperate need of help. I recently bought a Nintendo Switch and am trying to access online play. I always get an error message when I try to access online play. The error typically says something about my NAT type causing the issue. MyT-Mobile router (Arcadyan KVD21) seems to have NAT type B. I was told that I could just access my router settings on my computer and enable UPnP. However, when I type in my IP address I do not see any router settings to change. All I see is connection status/quality and some gateway information. Basically all I see is exactly what is in the T-mobile home internet app.Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Should I just get rid of T-Mobile home internet and get something else if I want to play games online?Solved10KViews1like11ComentariosNintendo Switch w/NOK 5G21 Gateway
I was thrilled to change from my previous provider to T-Mobile's internet. The speed is great. The service has been super reliable. Where I'm having trouble is on my Nintendo Switch. I can't getvisitors on my island on Animal Crossing. I can't race against friends on Mario Kart. Virtually all online gaming functionality is useless. And I'm frustrated I haven't been able to find a solution. I called support and they basically said there's nothing they can do. Has anyone found any solution to this?!16KViews6likes29ComentariosNintendo Switch "NT Traversal process has failed"
This error just started appearing tonight. I have been successfully playing online since I first signed-up for TMHI, now all of a sudden (BOOM!) I can't connect to anyone, nor can they connect to me. I've restarted my gateway (Nokia) and Switchmultiple times to no avail -- I've also tried using custom DNS, with no improvement. I also tried connecting to my mobile hotspot (also T-Mobile) which worked fine before -- now nothing. My NAT type as reported by the Switch is "B" which should be good for connecting (It's always been B, when I was gaming fine before) Did T-Mobile quietly change something which kills Nintendo Switch Online? Are there any solutions which don't require me to add yet another monthly subscription to my growing list? Nintendo Switch Online is an important part of staying connected with distant family members, so any help is appreciated.1.1KViews4likes2ComentariosNAT Problems
I've started to encounter problems with my Switch Lite & Switch OLED when i try to play online. I have NAT type B on both consoles so this shouldn't be happening. Not sure what changed within the system in the past 2 weeks to cause this to happen but it'd be great if I could get some help to fix it permanently. I did talk to a Tmobile chat person on Twitter last week who reset my router to factory settings which did fix it for a bit but it'w now having the same issue as before. I have a Belkin router attached to it but it suffers the same problem as the TMobile modem does. Thanks in advance for any help.219Visto2likes0ComentariosCan't Play Basic Online Games Because of Nat Type Issue
Don't know much of anything about networking, just know I can't play super Smash Brothers and other games on my Nintendo switch! I have the newest T-Mobile home internet router, the black rectangular one. Streaming content works just fine, browsing the internet works just fine, but gaming of pretty much any kind seems to be impossible, and I always get an error message stating that my Nat Type is incorrect or something of that nature. What can I do to fix this? I can create a hotspot on my phone and play Nintendo switch online just fine, surely I can do it with their advanced router.2.1KViews1like1Comentario
