For the 2nd time now, after returning from Europe, when back in the USA, I have absolutely no service. No amount of the standard troubleshooting via Tmobile phone support helps. The first time I had to get new SIM cards to make our phones work again. Anyone else have this problem and if so, were you able to fix it without going to a Tmobile store? Quite frustrating to have a dead phone and no fix without a new sim card swapped in.1KViews2likes3ComentariosFraudulent charges on contract T-Mobile voided
I have had Magenta Max since Dec 2022 The service stopped working in May 2024. I stopped getting my unlimited data and cell service. I reported loss of service and did multiple rounds of technical support from mid May to June to fix it. They did not. I didn't have service for almost a month when istopped Autopay in June and announced suspension of my account because I wasn't getting service. Customer service has been despicable since then. I submitted dozens of attachment proofs to customer service and customer service refused to acknowledge any of evidence taken from May to July. They insisted I owed them money for May-July I notified the company that they have voided the contract and I asked for my phone to be unlocked. Ihaven't had phone service since May, I NEED to find a legitimate phone carrier. T-Mobile has continued to charge me for June and July despite not having Magenta Max for over 2 monthes. I haven't had unlimited data or cell service since May and they cut off my amenities in June. They continue to charge me 2 and a half months since I last had service Customer service says the charges are valid on my voided contract and refuse to unlock my phone. Anyone have success getting all their evidence of T-Mobile fraud recognized and having your illegitimate charges taken off? How have you dealt with T-Mobile holding your property hostage and shaking you down stealing from you?43Visto0likes1ComentarioRecently moved to rural area and service was great, after 3 weeks I have no mobile data, why?
Prior to getting onto this peer assist forum I found that all methods to reachT-Mobile support require accessing T-Mobile's mobile network, but my issue is being suddenly and persistently unable to access T-Mobile's mobile network no phone without wifi, and no SMS/MMS. This is very difficult to troubleshoot therefore (and I have inadequate Wi-Fi making itworse). When I've recently traveled from home to locations with good Wi-Fi I'm still largely unable to call, receive calls, or exchange texts. So it's a mobile data issue and not solely an internet issue. I've tried many remedies. Frequent powercycling of the device; disabling battery-management; disabling Wi-Fi calling; enabling Wi-Fi calling; disabling roaming; cooling the device in the refrigerator; removing the SIM, examining it, finding no damage or wear to the copper, cleaning the drawer with alcohol and an air duster, replacing the SIM; among other things. A little over a month ago I moved from Massachusetts to rural northern Vermont. TMO's coverage map seems to show that I have a 5G tower less than a quarter mile from me in one direction, and only about a half-mile away in the opposite direction. Service was excellent for over a month. And now, for over a week, I have virtually none. Possible causes I have considered: * My SIM has gone bad. * Either recent storms or some other even has affected the local access points or WLAN segments in use by T-Mobile. * The coverage map is incorrect or out of date. * My service has been throttled or in some other way been rendered unusable, without explanation. Can you help me to determine a fix, please? The nearest T-Mobile Authorized Retailer and service location is almost 125 miles away and a 3hr drive. I have emailed support with no response. I do not use Twitter/X or Facebook Messenger. I've used the unofficial Reddit support group in the past -- I appear to have stumped them, this time. I appreciate any comment or suggestion. Fix me please! Thanks.80Visto0likes0ComentariosNo service for my "unlimited" plan! Can't make calls or texts without being connected to wifi?
Since I got on a new plan with t-mobile in 2022, I've been having issues receiving and sending texts and calls. I'll need to be connected to wifi most of the time to have service but I'm paying for an unlimited data plan and rarely have service when I'm out. Tmobile is stealing from me, I should not be paying this much to constantly be out of service! Especially when I need it most while I'm commuting or traveling. I recently got an unlocked phone compatible with tmobile from backmarket, not expecting much but once I put my SIM in the phone, this problem got 10x worse. I troubleshooted the network with customer service but nothing changed, and got a new SIM and the service did not improve. But now I look at my account online and it says the model of my phone is an iphone 12 when I actually have a samsung galaxy FE???? I'm so confused and I want my money back!52Visto0likes0ComentariosS22 Ultra Network Issues Since October Update
Since the October update , areas that Im in all day that that typically had great UC5G, now drop to 0 bars, cant take or make calls, text, or use data. ive worked with tech support both in person and here by chat. Ive changed to a ESIM, reset my network connections numerous times, wiped cache partitions, Ive been starting to see more and more people using the S22 and possibly other galaxy phones posting that since late October their mobile connections have degraded tremendously.I'll start briefly with some some 5g as i get handed off to a tower then within a minute it will drop to LTE, then a few bars of possibly 2g with no connection, to 0 bars. Ill post some screen shots of my phones rf levels. Tmobile even sent people out to these areas I had in question and said the signals fine, again leading me to conclude its in the software of the last update in October714Visto4likes8ComentariosT-Mobile coverage - Perry Point MD
This is yet another gripe about the coverage in a certain area specifically the VA Hospital in Perry Point, Maryland. According to this source and others (Click me)T-Mobile has won the government contrast to be the provider of mobile networks for all US VA facilities. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $684 million dollars, wowza. in addition thismap (click)shows but one T-Mobile cell phone tower in the area. I have spoken to several T-Mobile representatives on the phone and online chat and they agree, the lack of infrastructure is at fault for the bad network service in the area. A few of them have mentioned that they would forward the information to "engineers" but I have little faith that a singular customer will have any bearing on the goings on of a huge company like this. So i thought I would share this information on their forums. T-Mobile needs to step up and do what they promised and provide mobile network connectivity to this VA Hospital. Our patient/veterans who are also T-Mobile customers cannot make calls from within the facility. They cannot make and plan medical consults, plan transportation, follow through with their records, they cannot take advantage of all the mobile based amenities like result portals, patient advocacy or other Veterans Affair's pages. While there is guest wifi in the building, it is often congested and slow as you would expect any public connection to be, which is beside the point:T-Mobile is the chosen provider, their customers should not have to hop from Wifi to Wifi to have uninterrupted service.44Visto0likes0Comentarios
