New Gateway Cyliner router working great, except none of our Apple products can print via wifi. "No air printers found" is the error they return when we try. I've tried to troubleshoot using both Apple and T-Mobile customer service and no one seems to be able to help. Is it because of WPS? The printer is on wifi because we can print from any other devices. If we can't figure this out, the router is going back.2.5KViews2likes10ComentariosStrange connection problems with T-Mobile
Since I changed from Spectrum internet to T-Mobile I have noticed a few issues. The first one being for some reason my 5Ghz wireless does not show up on my ROKU devices that did work at 5 GHz with Spectrum, and5Ghz does show up on up on most other devices. My wireless Brother printer will not successfully connect wirelessly on 2.4 Ghz. I had to takenet cable from the gateway to another router and it was able to connect to the lan connected router wirelessly on 2.4Ghz. The most important issues are cameras that worked fine remotely on Spectrum no longer work with T-mobilecameras unless they are operated locally on the same network as the app.758Visto2likes6ComentariosPrinter issue
Now that I have TMobile as my ISP, my printer needs to be connected to this new network. I have a testpage that instructs me to see if MAC address filtering is enableda and/or to add the MAC addresss of my printer to the list of permitted devices for my wireless router. Sooo...in trying to access the wireless network, there isnt a list on the tmobile wireless router page, to add. What am I missing?Solved7.7KViews2likes11ComentariosHP Printer Wireless Set up Issue
Since setting up my 5g home internet device, I am not able to connect my HP Photosmart C4599 wireless printer to it. I reinstalled it on my home computer which connects to the modem with ethernet cable. I currently have the printer set up using cable connected to home computer, but when I try to configure it over wireless, I am not able to complete the set up. I get to the point where I select my SSID and put in my password so that is all working, but then after that it fails for "MAC Address Filtering may be enabled on your wireless router which can prevent your HP printer from connecting to your wireless network during setup.Temporarily disable MAC address filtering on your wireless router." I got into the router using the admin user/password but don't see an advanced option for disabling MAC address filtering. Is there a way to do this or what other options do I have? ¡Gracias por tu ayuda!16KViews1like37ComentariosAirPrint with T-Mobile home internet Nokia 5G21 gateway
So I just set up the Nokia gateway and, for the most part, it works great for my needs. I love that it is $25 less per month than I was paying Spectrum (the only other real option for me in my area) for faster speeds. The only issue I've run into is that, while I can connect my Brother MFC-L2710DW printer to the gateway, I am unable to get any of my Apple devices to "see" it as an AirPrint option. I currently have it connected to my old Netgear access point to be able to use it which works but I would like to not have to switch networks in order to print from my iPhone or iPad. The UI for the gateway is super dumbed-down and I cannot find any editable security settings that could be causing the issue. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and discovered a workaround?Solved3.6KViews1like16ComentariosCannot connect HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus to T-Mobile 5G Gateway
I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer N911g. I have just gotten a T-Mobile 5G Gateway router set up with 2 networks: one with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (dual band) and one with just 2.4 GHz - WPA security. When I attempt to connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz network, it fails with the issue "MAC address filtering may be enabled on your wireless router". IT IS NOT - my understanding is that there is no filter (option is set to ALL). I have reset this network several times, updated drivers, ensured the security settings are proper, rebooted the computer several times. I have connected several other devices to this network (iphone / ipad / desktop) without issue so this is a tad frustrating. Is there other possible settings?Solved530Visto1like5Comentarios
