I purchased 2 iPhones in a Costco kiosk back in April. I was told that I would receive a $75 promo card per phone, and as of yet, I have not received it. I did receive a cryptic text about 6 weeks ago, stating it would be arriving. As of yet nothing. Anyone else have this issue? Were you able to resolve it?31KViews3likes9ComentariosDisheartening Experience for Older Loyal Customers
I called oct 8th and I spoke to Lei.Iexplained my situation to her which is the following.Ihave been a customer for about 7 years, on march of 2018 Ibought an iphone X full price with them and paid insurance for about 3 years. Ihave never missed a payment and my plan is one of the older ones. my phone's battery started swelling so it is now a fire hazard, thus Iwant to upgrade my phone. She told me about the prices that they currently have for iphone 14, 15, and 16. The iphone 14 is 729.99 full price but newer clients with a newer plan get the iphone 14 for 300. Now Iexplained than me being an older client have contributed more money to the company compared to a newer client of say 2 years. She said she understood my situation and after talking for a while she "requested" to her supervisor a discount to see what was the best deal that Icould get on an iphone (13-16). She included 3 options in the request, or so Iwas told by her... The callback would include the best prices they can give to an older client like me with discounts. She told me and promised, actually promised, that no longer than 48 hours Iwould receive a call and Inever did. So Icalled them today (oct 12th) and they had me 1 hour and 10 minutes on the line. the new sales representative, David, did not acknowledge the request made for promotions until the very end but he never gave me the options that Lei and I came up with, so I am almost sure he lied to me and the request never happened. He kept going in circles about things that Irepeatedly told him i did not want. Iwanted to hear the offers of the discounts she requested, or hear him say no, the request never happened or even that it was denied. He could not say that. When asked if the call was being recorded he did not acknowledge it either. Iunderstand that tmobile wants to make money, obviously, but Iam not trying to get a free phone Ijust wanted to hear the best offer the company can make to an old client like myself on an iphone. Iwas promised a call with the answer from the request that never happened. If you are not going to give any promotions, say so from the beginning, why lie like that? Isn't that supposed to have legal repercussions? Tmobile would not even offer 10% discount on the 729.99 price of the iphone 14. Afriend had the same situation in verizon with an iphone 6, and she got an iphone 14 of 512gb for 300. It seems tmobile would rather lose clients than to offer them a fair promotion. Being loyal with them long-term means nothing to the company. My case number (given by David) is: ADOLAC334. In there you can go through both of the call recordings (David said with this number you are able to access them) where the empty promises are made and how tmobile only keeps you in a circle in hopes you desist. Again, Iwas not being irrational asking for anything free, I simply wanted to hear what promotions they had for a loyal customer, apparently none. Once David acknowledge Tmobile will not give me any discount on any iphone model, he changed to be quite rude and hung up.85Visto0likes1ComentarioDeception of promotions
What the supervisor Jonathan suggested is, you cannot just believe what a representative tells you. How did this all start? I called the tmobile customer service and asked if they have a new promotion that I can add a line and get a line free. The agent said "yes". Over the time of the same conversation, I asked the representative three times, "So, I am paying $30 for a line and getting a second line for free, right?" and he said "yes". After I consented, a couple of days later, I go and check my bill, and I am being charged the $30 twice without any notice. So I call again, and they tell me that the representative who made the mistake is going to call me back the next day, but he never did. After a week I call again and have to explain it all over again. I ask to talk to the supervisor "Jonathan", and I tell him to go and listen to the tape about what I was told in the original conversation. He says they made a mistake and they are not going to make it right, and they are going forward to charge me double. In conclusion, never trust what the tmobile representative tells. Always double check! What Jonathan also did lie about is that there is no way of filing a complaint online. He said that the company does not have any online complaint sources, and gives me this wired P.O. box address. I just needed to google once to find many means of online contact. These are too many lies to be an accident.53Visto0likes0ComentariosJump 2.0 and Promotion

I have an S9 with no cracks, scratches and fully operational, on a plan that is no longer offered byT-mobile (Simple Choice Family). If I upgrade to GO5G Plus and trade in my S9 does that qualify me to get the S24 ON US with $800 off promo? Has anyone taken this deal and then find out the phone costs more than they were thinking?131Visto0likes0ComentariosUpgrade para Siempre
I apologize for cross posting. I tried to ask this at the end of a "solved" discussion. That said, we signed up with T-Mobile in October of 2021 using the Magenta Max 55+ plan and financed 2 iPhone 13s using the Forever Upgrade with 30 payments. We paid off the phones in March. We got the text in December saying Forever Upgrade was ending but we could keep our plan and get the new Go5G Next benefits keeping our costs the same. We stopped by T-Mobile on Friday and they told us our iPhone 13s were only worth 340.00 on a trade, but if we upgrade to the new plan we could get 830.00 for the phones and it would only cost us another 26.00 a month. We don't want to loose our Magenta Max55+ plan, but also feel like the Forever Upgrade was a bait and switch if our phones are now worth less than half of what we were promised. At this point is it better to wait for the iPhone 16 and take the 340.00 trade in then? Or, was the salesperson lying to us in order to try to move us to a higher cost plan. He had our account open on his tablet but just kept saying that plans changed and moving was the only way to get the full 830.00 for our devices.435Visto0likes2ComentariosIs the smartwatch promo (galaxy6 classic) available for the $10 non-international plan?
I was looking at getting a smartwatch but from what I could tell of the offered promos it's only available with the $15/m plan. As far as I can tell the only difference between the plans is international data which is utterly useless for me since I live nowhere near the borders and likely won't be traveling anytime soon (who even has the money for that). Is there any option to use the regular plan or some great feature with the $15/m plan that's not stated for some reason. Love to simplify things and just buy from the service I'm going to use it on but I can't see a reason to pay and extra $120 over 2 years for features I can't realistically even use.22Visto0likes0ComentariosPromotion let down
I applied for the T-Mobile internet in November and was supposed to receive a free 50 inch fire TV. I followed up several times and each time the person from promotions said I was approved and I should be receiving it soon. Today I talked with a young lady that help me place it in my Amazon account and when I put in the code it was expired. She then call promotions and they said it was expired and there was nothing they could do. So I am out a free tv. No one told me I needed to put it in a cart at amazon. I called promotions in January, February and April. You would think one person would have told me how to redeem this TV. I am disappointed. Not very good customer relations on promotions part. The rep that assisted me today was fantastic. But she could not help me either. Maybe there is someone at T-Mobile that can assist me so I can receive the promotion I was promised Reward Tracker Good news! Your submission has been approved. We will be sending your reward soon. Last November, I signed up for the promotion where I provide 4 iphones to t-mobile, they provide 4 new iphone 15 and provide a service plan of $25/month per phone. The promotion had been running for many months, and just stopped recently. I setup for direct billing, and had not checked my bill a few months, but later saw that they are charging me double of what the promotion. THey claim that the sales person enrolled me in the wrong plan. Seems to me it they have sketchy sales tactics or incompetent sales people. Either way, the enrolled me an a plan that is twice the cost of what I should have had. I called their call center to escalate twice, they admit to making the mistake, but will not adjust the plan because I called "outside of their dispute window". I asked them to either allow me to cancel the contract, or give me a credit that compensate for the additional cost. Over the course of the 2 year agreement, the extra charge amounts to approximately an additional $2,500. I call the call center, wait 2 weeks for a response, and get no resolution. Today, I spent an hour on the phone, got redirected to a manager, and then that manager "transferred" me to another manager at which point I was hung up on. The call center has noability to do anything anyway. They admitted to the mistake many times, but will not make it right. Pretty poor customer service and shady or incompetent sales staff. At this point, my only recorse is small claims court. Looking for someone at t-mobile to step up and do the right thing and put me in the right plan. How would you like it if someone over billed you by $2,500. Not fair or worse shady practices.79Visto0likes0Comentarios
