6 TopicsError Codes Wan005 and Wan002
Does anyone else using the T mobile Home Internet model KVD21 have this happen to them? My internet worked great for the first month, and about 2 days ago or so the internet just drops randomly and won't reconnect and will give me error codes Wan005 and Wan002 until I factory reset it. Turning it off and on again multiple times doesn't fix the error either. And when I do factory reset it, whenever it goes to reboot it gets stuck in a cycle where it keeps restarting over and over until randomly it finally reboots after unplugging and plugging it back in multiple times. This is super frustrating as you could probably imagine and I have no idea why out of nowhere it started doing this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, if it continues I guess I will try to see about getting a replacement unit. Thanks for any input or thoughts on what could be the issue!Solved77KViews0likes13ComentariosReiniciar
Has anyone needed to reboot their gateway at least once a day- Last few days randomly my internet stops working and rebooting the gateway always fixes it-but- This is getting old fast and I am wary as to how long it will be before rebooting will no longer work- I fear that my gateway may be faulty- What say the experts-62Visto1like0ComentariosRandom Reboots - 3rd gatway
When i first signed up for TMHI, it was the best thing around. In the last couple of months, it ain't worth having. It works awesome….when it works. I still have the Nokia trashcan gateway, and suddenly they will start rebooting randomly. Not a hard reboot it seems, as the uptime in the GUI never resets. I call/chat with Tech support and they do a couple of tests and send me a replacement gateway. This is the 3rd one. Out of the box, this one is rebooting anywhere from 2-5 times every 5 minutes, to 5 times an hour, to not rebooting for an extended amount of time. What is causing this? Is it firmware? Is it heat? I have a fan under it, and one on top in a push-pull config so I don't suspect heat. I do see the N71 band signal jumping all over the place. RSRP jumps from -50 to -88, to -94 to -104 then drops completely. B66 band stays pretty much where it always is, at -104. I can see the tower across the field from my house, and my parents also have the Nokia Gateway and he randomly had trouble like mine. They sent him a new gateway and reset his signal and everything has been fine since. We also have an Arcadyan gateway at our church that never misses a beat. I'm at my wits end with it. I work from home 90% of the time and I rely on this connection to keep me where I can work. Any suggestions? Oh. I also want to add that my speeds have dropped from the low-mid 200s down and 50s up to low 40s down and less than 10 up.165Visto0likes2ComentariosHow do I report an issue with home internet mobile app?
The home internet mobile app provided by T-Mobile has an issue. My router will often be connected to the tower but stop providing internet to connected devices, and the devices are all connected to the router by either Wi-Fi or Ethernet. When this happens the router must be rebooted. Upon opening the mobile app it shows a screen with the following: 1 Go to Wi-Fi settings on your phone. 2 Connect to the T-Mobile Wi-Fi network and enter your password. 3 Return to the app to continue. A button with "Go to settings" in red. If I go to settings, my Wi-Fi shows connected to my SSID but also says "cannot provide internet". If I close settings, the T-Mobile app may proceed to the status page showing how many bars are present connecting to the tower and an X between the gateway and internet (tower). If I get here I can touch "more" then choose to reboot the gateway. This is fine. I don't like the fact I must reboot the gateway so often, but like the T-Mobile speed and price, so put up with it. This is the issue. Sometimes upon returning from the settings screen for the phone, where it shows Wi-Fi is connected but no internet, it just shows the screen with three numbers again. It will not proceed to the status screen. Because it does not proceed to the status screen I cannot touch "more" then go on to reboot the gateway. This is a severe annoyance. Because I can't reboot the gateway using the mobile app I must go upstairs and power cycle the gateway. I work at home, and only need internet to check email and refresh my projects. When the mobile app does not allow me to reboot the gateway I MUST STOP MY WORK and T-MOBILE COSTS ME TIME. Please change the mobile app so it will always go to the status screen regardless of a goodWi-Fi connection providing internet. Also, when the gateway is not providing internet, it still allows my local network to function and devices can still talk to each other. For this state, none of the devices can get outside the local network for internet. I can see the status page at http://192.168.12.1, It shows bars for the tower connection with an X between the gateway and internet (tower). Please install a button and functionality on the locally served gateway page to reboot the gateway.Solved496Visto0likes5ComentariosLoss of internet even though gateway showed excellent 5G connection
I have been running without issue until sudden lost of internet @ 2:50am ET. I checked T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway, the device had 5 bars with 5G service however no internet. I tried connecting my phone Samsung s22 to T-Mobile gateway which it connected however no internet. Next I unplugged power for 30 seconds then plugged power back in, once restarted internet restored. Does T-Mobile Gateway require rebooting/restarting on some scheduled frequency? What's the typical runtime/device uptime? How can a remote power cycle be done if I am not physically present to power cycle the device?Solved641Visto0likes4ComentariosSo why all the reconnections ?
So why are we getting these constant disconnections and then we have to reboot throughout the day? I set up a automation tool to ping google and if it fails , it automatically reboots the T-Mobile router and this is occurring at least 3-6 times a day.. WHY? Come on T-MOBILE give us a answer .. especially since Verizon has now rolled out their own home internet near me..102Visto1like1Comentario
