13 TopicsShould I be held accountable for false information given to me?
It all started when I tried ordering 3 watches. I called T-Mobile and the rep had told me for a sync up kids 2 watch I would need a voiceline. So I got a google pixel with the watch. It turned out I didn't need the voiceline and I was able to return the phone and not be charged anything. So I call T-Mobile again and ask about the pixel 2 watches and they said I'd need a voiceline for them. So I ask about the apple watches and the rep said they are stand alones and I could use my Ipad to set them up. So I order 2 of them. Turns out I couldn't use them. I only opened one and the other was still sealed. I brought them back to the store within the time frame and only got $10.00 out of nearly $80.00. They called it a restocking fee. I tried getting my money back the rep at the store said it wasn't in her power to give me more than what someone on the phone had told her to give me. I leave the store get home and call T-Mobile and ask for a manager. I explain to her that I feel like I have been swindled because I was given false information and now I'm out money. She got aggravated, vocal and snotty and told me that there would be a $10 credit applied to my account. So I figured I'd submit a complaint but everytime I ask how to they ask me why and how they can help and if I'm persistent about it the chat just ends or the call drops….Am I crazy for thinking I got swindled?23Visto0likes0ComentariosBought a NEW device that is faulty and T Mobile refuse to replace or refund
I bought a brand new Franklin Wireless RG2100 in December 2023 from the flagship T Mobile store in Las Vegas. I am in NY and it is faulty. I took it to a Boston T Mobile store who told me they couldn't do anything as it was pre-paid (bought outright) and to call customer service. I went to New Haven T Mobile store who told me to call customer service while instore as they had no process to deal with a pre-paid faulty device. We called customer service who didn't know what to do. I called customer service the next day and spoke to a supervisor who also said he could do nothing. I have paid for a brand new device that is genuinely faulty, under warrantyand still looks brand new, yet T Mobile have taken my money and refuse to refund me or give me a replacement device. Nobody disputes the unit is faulty, even though customer service imply they don't trust me, however their own store on the phone told them it was as responsive as a "brick". What they are doing is nothing short of theft as they know it is faulty, they know it is under warranty, yet they won't give any means to replace, fix or refund it. To clarify, there isn't even a light scratch on the device, it still looks brand new and still in it's original box.86Visto0likes3ComentariosNeed Help! i have over $190 remaining in my pre-paid acct. & the money simply disappeared afterwards. I'd have no issueusing the remaining towarda purchase of device or some sort, but it just simply disappeared. This term non-refundable term is a complete scam. The nob-refundable amount should be limited within the billing cycle or 60 daysof the cancellation. what if the customer had emergency &had to cancelthe service when there is a large amount in the acct?Solved1.5KViews0likes18ComentariosThird line charged for number transfer
Hello, I went to the T-Mobile store in January to buy a two line Magenta Max contract. My wife wanted a new number and I wanted to transfer my number from GoogleFI, so the sales rep created a temporary third line during the process that we needed to take over my number. The idea was to make sure that I won't cancel my number with GoogleFI too early and run into issues (I used the number for multiple 2FAs). For some reason, I was billed this third line in my first month even though I have never used it. I was also not informed by the sales rep that this will incur any costs. I assume he didn't know either but he was very quick and knowledgeable. I then asked T-Mobile support chat to give me a refund two times over the course of a month and was promised that I will get a discount within the next 2-3 future bills. Instead of the refund the chat removed my employee discount for some reason and I had to call the hotline to get it back on (this is solved by now). The refund for the third line first month has not happened so far. When will I get my refund for this temporary line? Had anyone else similar issues and what is the best way to handle this? Chat support seemed not to be very helpful.Solved108Visto0likes2ComentariosTmobile activated a line with no permission, and have not refunded me.
Hello I am very upset and disappointed by the customer service we have received regarding this issue. We have our account on a military suspension while we are overseas, but we were still paying for one phone back in the states for my sister. Once it came to closing the phone line we closed the phone line but for some reason Tmobile opened my military suspended line and had been charging me for months until I caught the charges. Now they had been charging for about 7 months and it came out to ver 500$ that they took from my account for a line we never authorized for them to open and a line that had never been used. We have opened MULTIPLE investigations Since the middle of July and have received no response regarding our issue. We are very upset and highly disappointed with the lack of communication. We have been offered credit on our account which we continually decline because we will NOT be returning back to T-MOBILE once we return to the states.1.7KViews0likes13Comentariosups lost my package - tmobile wont refund me
My T-Mobile package was undeliverable so it was sent back to T-Mobile. Ups lost the package in the mail so T-Mobile filled a claim with them. Ups sent the claim to T-Mobile but T-Mobile has not done anything about it and do not want to refund my phone until they receivethe phone. But the phone was lost in the mail. It's been over a month and I have not received a refund. I call T-Mobile and they keep saying 5-7 business days that they are escalating my claim but I called back today and they said a claim was never put it. I don't know what to do anymore. I just want my refund.233Visto0likes1ComentarioNever recieved all of the money back on returned phone and airpods..
The beginning of November we placed an order for the new Apple phone and airpods. After realizing we would not be home to sign for the order we contacted T Mobile the next morning…andTHEY in turn "cancelled" the order saying it was too late to change the address…we had to wait until they receieved the order back to get the over 600.00 credit so we could place the order once again. It took over 2 weeks and we only got credit for the phone, not the airpods...we NEVER say the package, UPS and TMobile stopped it from being sent to us...after messing waiting almost 3 weeks we went ahead and ordered again. This order was fine, other than since all of this happened it made our trade in value go down...which is not our fault… BUT…. I have contacted them several times, the last time over the phone I was hung up on…I visited the store to see if that would help…but of course they gave my number to their general manager to call me and of course I have not heard anything, that was last week… This is over a month now and 275.00 is a lot of money (250.00 plus tax, plus all the wasted time) especially here at Christmas!!! HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK??????????106Visto1like1Comentario
