This # has been leaving voice messages ever since I got my phone in 2018. Every time I shut down my phone then turn it back on it says that I have a new voice message from the same #. Then its says that voice mail was detected using SMS but I haven't even been able to set up my voice mail. So I Googled the # to see if anyone else was having this problem and I found that this # is from Santa Barbara and many people have had this issue just like me and most of them said that this # had something to do with T-Mobile. Then I heard that this # was a viruse or a hacker trying to get into your phone which almost gave me a heart attack. So if you could explain to me what this # really is then that would be great.159KViews1like29ComentariosFEWER SCAM CALLS. PERIOD

I've received calls from 866-969-1631 offering 50% off on my t-mobile bill. When I call the number I get some guy that sounds like he is in India or Pakistan trying to get my account information. The auto attendant for the number spoofs the actual t-mobile auto attendant nearly perfectly.3.4KViews1like11ComentariosDoes T-Mobile "Scam Shield" app not block scam from verified numbers?
Scam Shield app on my iPhone seems to have worked okay until recently. But that changed. The app now says,"Scam Block is on. 7 scam likely calls blocked in the last 30 days." But I've personally reported 58 calls from a dozen or so boiler rooms in the last four days. Many of those are from the same numbers received after I reported them as spam. The calls are robo-dialed. Often they hang up when I answer. Other times a person comes on the line. The callers are looking for Clara Kendrick who lives in West Virginia. That's not me, and I don't live there. The callers are looking for health insurance sales leads. I checked with Healthcare.gov and was told there were no applications there from anyone using my phone number. Some of the nuisance calls have come through more than five times. There so many I cannot be sure, but I think the calls that come through repeatedly are from verified numbers. I've started using my iPhone feature to block those numbers. But I'm still curious.I talked to T-Mobile tech support but couldn't get any answers that made sense. Can someone explain what it is about these calls that evades the Scam Shield app?108Visto1like0ComentariosCan I block calls from an entire area code or specific exchange?
I am receiving several calls per day (3 to 5) but every single day no matter how many times I block the number they simply call from a new one. These are robocalls, political solicitations, and survey types and it is getting intolerable. They do come from only a handful of area codes like Washington DC (202) and some from 771 but some come from a particular exchange within an area code like 715 and only the last 4 digits change each time. That's 10,000 calls per exchange which makes me want to just not have a phone at all. I am already on the "do not call registry". Anyone know how this can be done?Solved99Visto0likes2ComentariosFCC Directive Re: Robocalls
On July 21,2022, the Federal Communications Commision (FCC)..."announced that the Enforcement Bureau has ordered phone companies to stop carrying traffic regarding a known robocall scam marketing auto warranties." I guess T-Mobile is not in compliance with this order because I continue to get these auto warrant scam calls daily...today I received 19 of them. Has anybody tried to point this out to T-mobile and, if so, what was theirresponse? Gracias.94Visto0likes3ComentariosScam calls
Is it possible to block all calls from a particular US area code on a Samsung S7? I get scam calls every day at all hours, usually before 5am, from the (469) area code in Texas. The last 4 digits of the number are different every time so blocking individual numbers doesn't work.76Visto0likes1ComentarioSpam Shield
I have questions about this. Does it also block texts? I get many of these. Will it interfere with doctor offices when they leave an automated message? Or does thisknow this is not a spam call? A friend told me that these kind of blockers also block the doctor and hospital calls and I sure do not want that to happen. What message do the spamers hear when they are blocked?26Visto0likes0Comentarios
