Hi, I got the new Home Internet Cylinder router. Pretty simple setup but the speeds are good and the price is right. I have a few devices I have always used WPS to connect. Some extenders and some indoor cameras. Can't figure out how to do it now. I do not see a WPS button. Am I missing something? The interface is so simple but maybe it will get better with time. I'm having a few issues with my 5g T-mobile gateway/router (the cylinder) with my HP printer and maybe my Roku (I stopped seeing its Wi-Fi a few days ago). What I'm wondering is, if I use my own router in bridge/AP mode and connect to that, will that resolve potential issues I'm seeing? Or no, since it's all part of the same network anyway?8.8KViews0likes7Comentarioswi fi router for gateway
I am a newbie and not a techie, but I am trying to set up a router to my gateway. I see many suggestions to turn off the wifi on the gateway and use a separate router. I am looking for an inexpensive (under $150) rounter to add to my gateway. (Not sure it will even help so I don't want to invest too much).I am looking for one that hooks up without having to make a lot of modifications. Did I mention I'm not that tech savvy. Is there a specific ethernet cable number I need? Has anyone hooked up a wi fi 6 router that just works? Nater Tater recommends ASUS, any other brands? Thanks for any advice you can give me. I am less than a mile from my tower, I get 2 bars on 4G and 3 bars on 5G and routinely am getting downloads speeds less than 1Mbps.. not acceptable. HELP!!!!! Tech support at T mobile is no help. They just keep having me factory reset, etc.9.7KViews0likes6ComentariosUsing T-Mobile as second WAN on Asus RT-GXE11000
Does anyone have this setup running? I have Verizon FiOS 1 Gbps service for my primary internet, and I wanted to use the T-Mobile 5G Internet in a load balance setup. I get very good speeds where I live (630/120). Has anyone had luck with setting this up? I should note, I have the home gateway that does not allow disabling the WiFi network, so I'm expecting I'll have to deal with a double NAT situation. However, as long as I connect to the Asus WiFi, I would assume that it would be able to access Verizon and T-Mobile? EDIT: Sorry for the typo in the title. It's the Asus GT-AXE11000.Solved454Visto0likes3Comentarios
