Since moving to the S23 with official locked Tmobile ROM, RCS messaging has been terrible. Fails to connect to RCS servers, fails to send text, fails to receive text all at random. Rebooting phone, clear Google Messages cache and deleting all text threads helps for a while, then it's back to terrible again. I have researched online and others have the exact same issue. It all started when Samsung moved from Samsung Messages to Google Messages for the text app. The problem is that Google Messages which is now the official messaging app on Galaxy phones, still uses T-Mobile's unreliable RCS services. They can reprogram the Google Messages app that official Tmobile Samsung phones have to use the stable Google Jibe RCS services instead. This only effects official Tmobile phones and not unlocked Samsung phones on Tmobile, as their Google Messages client uses Googles RCS services and not T-mobiles. ATT just moved all their users from ATT RCS services back to Google Jibe for these performance reasons. When is T-Mobile going to move Samsung Galaxy usersoff the unstable Tmobile RCS services and onto Google Jibe RCS services? If any Tmobile reps are listening, please open a casewith backend engineering to fix this. Tmobile Samsung phone usershave been dealing with for a year now. This issue is enough to lose a substantial amount of subscribers over. Need proof?10KViews5likes44ComentariosS23 Ultra Texts Not Receiving
After a few hours receiving text messages on my S23 start to slow down and eventually completely stop . Restarting my phone only helps for a few hours until the problem reoccurs. I've tried reinstalling Google Messages, singing up for the Beta, resetting the network settings, disabling wifi, etc. I have not tried a master reset yet. I noticed a similar thread regarding an S23 Ultra on a competing carrier's community site. Has anyone seen similar issues with the S23? I hate to return it.Solved6.1KViews1like26ComentariosWhen will T-Mobile convert their RCS platform to the Jibe Platform (Google) for RCS?
I've noticed that Samsung S21-S23 are on T-Mobile's servers for RCS messaging (AKA Google Messages). But there is an update from T-Mobile'stwitter account posted on 9/21/23 that they will be migrating to Jibe. Any idea or ETA that these devices will migrate.2.2KViews1like37ComentariosUnlocked Samsung Galaxy S23 plus IMEI error
I preordered the unlocked S23+from Samsung and received it yesterday. When I tried to activate it online, it gave me an IMEI error. I called into support and the tech tried to help me activate it and he also got the IMEI error. He said I probably have to wait till the official release date on Feb. 17th to activate it. Is this true that I cannotactivate the S23+ before the official release date?669Visto0likes4ComentariosSamsung Galaxy S23 running hot
I have tried 2 Samsung Galaxy S23's and both are running hot, even when off charge. I have read that there is a serious problem with this phone , but the T-Mobile is not acknowledging this and charges @20.00for each switch. What can I do to switch to another phone model?532Visto0likes2ComentariosSIM Moved Prematurely to S23 Pre-Order
After a debacle pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra at its rollout last week (see thread "Samsung S23 Pre-Order Problem Through Samsung"), now a new problem--my SIM was moved from my current phone to the new one, even though it won't arrive for 10 more days. Discovered only when I couldn't get text messages to go and finally received a notice I had no network connection. A knowledgeable T-Mobile agent (5 stars to her!) agreed my hypothesis is likely because of the timing--that it was part of the nightmarish S23 ordering process. But she cautioned me to watch my accounts because there's been a problem with hijacked SIMs to gain banking and other information. Has anyone else experienced this?208Visto0likes1Comentario
