Be careful with very unethical practice by Tmobile to give you free device and they will tell you it is free and will start charging you a service fee. Anyone have the same issues? When I was at the stores they did this to several customers. I should know better. I've been with Tmobile for a long time, after this bad experience, I can't trust Tmobile anymore. Maybe time to switch to a different company or find customers with similar issues and ask a lawyer to sue this company. It is not about the monthly fee, but it is about big corporation just get a way with unethical business practice by scamming customer.9.1KViews14likes26ComentariosTmobile trade in is SCAM
T mobile trade in is definitely a scam or useless reps that promised resolutions to just get you off the phone. I have port in and trade in my phones from Verizon in Sept 2022. They advertised and promised the trade-in amounts. Processed at store in Sept and somehow one of the trade in was linked to wrong line. Rep at store claim it is not an issue for the promotion etc. Ever since then, i had called customer care and spoken to over 10 reps since Sep and still have not been corrected by T mobile. So, beware when you decide to port in or trade in your phone in Tmobile.. You may never see the credits/promotions promised.3KViews10likes18ComentariosIn-Store Representative Lied to Make Us Sign Up, T-Mobile Support Won't Make It Right
We were made to sign-up under false pretenses that we would be receiving a 20% monthly discount ($34) for the Magenta MAX plan from an in-store representative. He claimed it was for friends and family, and that he'd use it for us to entice us to sign up. 2 months and multiple trips to the store later, the discount keeps disappearing from our account. The store manager (Ryan) was helpful and provided us with bill credits and a new code when he didn't know what the problem was. Eventually I called T-Mobile Support (611), and they've informed us that we were never eligible for the code, and that it's too bad and we have to deal with it. I'm furious that T-Mobile could just lie to our faces and coax us into signing up with them under false promises (which we have paper trail documents from the in-store employee), only to have them yank it out secretely and told to "deal with it". If this issue isn't resolved, we are likely to cancel our plan and never recommend to any person with a conscience. This cannot be legal, I don't believe it so.Solved1.4KViews9likes11ComentariosAssurant return damaged device package Empty!!
I have been a customer of Tmobile for the last 16 years and have filed 3 claims 2 damaged phones and 1 stolen. I have paid $4,608.00 in total for insurance on my devices. $42,240.00 for phone service. I am beyond upset and no is not even the amount I am erroneously being charged by assurant through T-mobile. But is the scam that assurant is able to get away with! This is my story, I accidentally damaged my phone in September and filed a claim with assurant for this phone to be replaced, my claim was approved next day and I received my replacement. I sent the damaged phone back to assurant on September 14th and received a notification it was received September 17th in their York PA warehouse. I received a letter in November stating phone was not received, so I called assurant and their Rep stated that they had actually received the phone but the package had not been scanned in. Then I get a charge on my T-Mobileaccount in December stating assurant never received their damaged device. I call assurant and again I am told the device was received but the packaged had not been scanned. I wait a week and call again and now another rep is telling me the package I sent was empty and it was received empty, so I ask why would I claim a damaged phone and then keep it. Why would I send an empty package and taken the time to tape it and mail it and track it just so I could be told package was received but it is empty so you have to pay full price for a refurbished phone replacement. This is definitely a scam and there is no way that our packages arrive empty. It makes no sense my phone was literally in pieces due to car accident who would steal a damaged phone that had no use. Please T-Mobile investigate assurant and please find another insurance provider for your customers.3.4KViews8likes32ComentariosThinking of switching to T-Mobile? Don't.
T-Mobile store blatantly deceived me and refuses to take ownership over their mistake. I joined T-Mobile earlier this year solely for a promotional trade-in plan valued at $830. I traded in my iPhone 8 in the physical store so I would be assured that my phone and plan qualified for the promotion. Between figuring out which plan to get, signing up, and transferring my data, I was in the store, chatting with the employees for over 5 hours. All the while, I was asking "Are you sure this phone, and this plan, qualifies for the promotion? If not, I don't want to sign up." The employees answer, each time was, "Yes, I promise you that you qualify. If you have any problems with the promotion, you can contact me." In fact, he even gave me his personal phone number to contact if I had any issues. I asked this question at least 10 times over the course of my visit. While I was signing up, the employee "made a mistake" in not applying the promotion, I caught this mistake by reading the fine print of the contract and called him out on it. He acknowledged the error and proceeded to call his management to figure out what to do next. He was on the phone long enough to convince me that he had resolved the issue, and we proceeded with signing up for the plan. He ensured me once again -- "you're signed up for the promotion -- even if it doesn't show that way in your account, I promise it will be applied after one or two billing cycles." A few billing cycles had passed and I still wasn't signed up for the promotion. I texted the store employee and he assured me it would be applied after another billing cycle. I then called customer service, who assured me the promotion was applied moving forward and there wouldn't be any issues with future bills. Well, the next billing cycle came and went, no promotion. Rinse and repeat twice more until I finally got on the phone with someone who escalated my case. She assured me this shouldn't be an issue once I submit this ticket -- "hang tight and you will hear back from us." When I heard back, turns out I never qualified for the promotion in the first place. I escalated within the call center. They still wouldn't own up to their mistake and grant the promotion. I've now texted the original store employee twice since then, and he's officially ghosted me. I've spent 10 hours on the phone with T-Mobile trying to resolve this and am still out $830 on their shady sales tactics. I'm beyond disappointed with T-Mobile and just want the promotion, which I fairly signed up for, to be applied to my account. All I've gotten from T-Mobile has been cheerful, seemingly helpful sales reps and customer service employees ensuring me that they've made a mistake, and that the promotion will be applied, only to have them throw the problem over the fence to the next employee, and go back on their word. Whoever's reading this from corporate please look at my case records and see the countless lies I've received from your organization. I just reported T-Mobile to the Federal Trade Commission, and would recommend others do the same.1.4KViews6likes7ComentariosT-Mobile non return fee on gareway scam
I have sent my gateway back using the return label provided by T-Mobile. The tracking(1Z0545229096661887) shows delivered on November 2nd2022. T-Mobile now charged me $399 + taxfor non return. They are scamming people by charging the money for the device they received and now the agent and the supervisor is convincing me that they will take care of $200 and the remaining is my responsibility. i am not accepting that offer as T-Mobile is scamming people and getting free money. What can i do to get this charges taken care. Can i file a lawsuit on this as i have all the proof of delivery. T-Mobile says that they cannot locate the device.4KViews5likes23ComentariosAssurant return concern
I have heard about this happening to a lot of people, unfortunately I saw all the stories *after* I filed a claim. I will soon have to mail my damaged phone back. I contacted T-Force and they said that I cannot turn it in in-store since the Protection<360> stuff all goes through Assurant. I am scared they will lose my returned phone and then bill me for it, as has happened to so many other people. Has anyone successfully done a return with Assurant? Any advice as to how I can protect myself - like getting a receipt and buying package insurance? I've also heard filming myself boxing the phone and sending the package is good, does that really help? And what can I do if/when they lose my phone? Also, has anyone actually had a *good* experience with Assurant or Jump? Literally all I am seeing is horror stories.Solved26KViews4likes24ComentariosScam?
As of the past four days, I have been receiving numerous phone calls from 1-844-796-0648. I looked up the number and it seems to say on multiple websites that this is a scam claiming to be T-Mobile, so I have been ignoring the calls since. As of yesterday, I received a letter in the mail saying that I have an outstanding balance. I checked my account and there is no outstanding balance. The letter looked suspicious to me considering it does not look like any other letter I have received in the past from T-Mobile (the paper is different, there is no color to the paper, etc.). I looked up the phone number provided inthis letter as well which states it is the financial service department (1-888-310-8471). I found that this also seems to be a scam number as well. I guess my questions are: is anyone else dealing with this? is this actually a scam? if this is a scam, how did they receive my information (phone number and address)?Solved19KViews4likes11ComentariosT-Mobile is scammer!
I went to the store for upgrading my phone V+ and they gave me another V+. I used Chat for making sure what happen Danicamarie wrote me it was a promotion for me and now I have two phones in my line and one is free by the T-Mobile Promotion (scam). I wrote I do not want surprises but Danicamarie wrote I should not worry, this is a promotion and second phone will be totally free. My ex girlfriend bring her iPhone (she bought in Apple Store) and T-Mobile take like one month to complete her transfer phone number after many problems. My ex girlfriend she did not like T-Mobile and she transfered her phone number out of T-Mobile to another carrier. But T-Mobile actually created a third Revvl V+. I actually have two physically Revvl V+ phones with its own boxes but I have actually three Revvl V+ phones in T-Mobile system, three different IMEI, ID and one of those is the "promotion" (scam), another should be mine but another T-Mobile is using my ex girlfriend name and her phone number for creating an imaginary third Revvl V+. This means: I have two physical devices, one was a "promotion" but T-Mobile has three in system. I am charged for 2 phones, the "promotion" was not real and T-Mobile is using the identity of my ex girlfriend for charging two phones when I have two and one was "promo". Cramming, false advertising, use of identity and data of someone never had a Revvl V+, scamming, bad company practices. The actual customer service like always are using words as: "i am in your side", "apologizes for all inconvenience" but they are not solving. And the last "expert" Juanita with her Supervisor wrote me: "the promo was two years ago", I like the plans but T-Mobile is very disorganized with data and bills or they are just very dishonest company. T-Mobile act as a scammer company. They are a scammer by their behaves and practices.236Visto3likes0ComentariosFile a complaint with FCC.
I purchased a Samsung s23fe and within 2 weeks I started having problems charging the phone so I bought new chargers. The phone has been trouble shooted, it's a defective USB port it would only charge wirelessly . Now the phone doesn't charge at all. It's completely off It was less than 30 days that I started to complain but they wanted to do a warranty replacement when T-Mobile went to process my warranty form they found that the phone was not in their inventory to be sold the numbers inside the phone didn't match what they had sold to me. Now I have to wait for them to resolve their issue with the serial number. And T-Mobile corporate told me I bought the phone from a T-Mobile location but they operate as third party retailer, (Who knew this? The Store And my Receipt says T-Mobile on Wharton Street Pittsburgh PA) customer care told me if I would have bought it from T-Mobile corporate location then they could return the phone and give me one in stock. Jenae a customer care representative said she notes my account to do buyer remorse at a Corporate location and get me a phone that was in stock and do a return I drove to the "corporate location" and they laughed me out of the store saying that customer care is wrong they cannot give me a return because they can't look up this other T-Mobile's information. And anything notes on my account is for me to wait til the other location resolves the serial number issues. So it's been an issue since Friday with the skus. I'm left with a unprocessed warranty form, a non working phone that I'm told I'll own on if I just leave TMobile the phone was bought on a promotion of Add a line and get a free phone. But if I leave I'll owe $1000 for the phone. That is defective! It should not be so hard to return a phone that you bought less then 30 days ago. How can T-Mobile sell me a phone that is not in their inventory? And then tell me they have to dispute this before they can process my warranty form??? Oh and its a T-Mobile store front but it's "third party" literally now I'm stuck with no working phone and they can't process my warranty form I'm told if someone will call me about my form and the SKU / IDM # numbers getting fixed on Friday coming up. So that's over one week that I'm supposed to be paying $130 a month for T-Mobile service and don't have a working phone? And no idea when I'll get a replacement? Also they said my bill would not change and they took away my hotspot and my insurance that I had before getting this phone. So yeah my bill is $130 like it was before but this phone is supposed to be free and I have no add-ons.now!! It's just $130 for the two lines a month. This is crazy and I need a phone! I work with pet care clients by the phone everyday and I'm using a phone from a friend with my sim card. I need HELP!180Visto3likes2Comentarios
