108 TopicsMisleading T-Mobile Offer Resulted in Higher Monthly Bill and Unwanted Lines
Two months ago, I had 9 lines on my T-Mobile account, and on August 24, 2024, I reached out to chat support to remove one line. At the time, I mentioned to the agent that I had two additional lines that might join the account if there were any suitable deals or offers available. My bill for 9 lines was $245, and I emphasized that I didn't want to increase my monthly bill. The agent informed me about a "buy one, get one free" offer, explaining that if I removed one line and added the two new lines, my bill would remain the same at $245. This offer made it financially feasible for me, so I proceeded with the changes based on the agent's assurance that my monthly payment wouldn't increase. However, the following month, I discovered that my bill was $280, not $245 as the agent had promised. I verified this with a copy of the chat, proving that the agent had misrepresented the offer and the final cost. I then visited T-Mobile support four or five times to resolve this issue, but each time, they apologized for the "miscalculation" yet insisted the bill would stay at $280 for 10 lines, leaving me with two extra lines and an additional $35 on my monthly bill. If the agent had disclosed that the final cost would be $280, I would not have added the two lines. This misrepresentation effectively scammed me into increasing my plan, resulting in an unwanted burden.49Visto0likes1ComentarioScammed after Survey
If you are prompted to takea customer survey for T-mobile and then offered a "free" item for participating...do NOT participate. I have recently discovered that I have been scammed for more than 3months at $49.99 a month by Bigtakeup.com after accepting the offer and receiving a "free" flashlight! I had to cover the cost of shipping, which is how they had my credit card info. Information about this company is posted onhttps://www.scamdoc.com/view/674681#comment-add-successand someone there posted the same issue relating to T-mobile. My question is has anyone else experienced this issue and did you reach out to T-mobile?4.3KViews0likes7Comentariosscam discount call
Hi, I got a call offering a monthly discount for 24 months. I stayed on the phone for 30 min, I didn't give any information about my account, they had all my information so I thought it was a legit call. However, they asked me to pay taxes for a new phone and pay for documents with all information about the discount. I declined at that point. My concern is about all my information to be compromised. Can you confirm that T-Mobile is doing that marketing campaign? Also, can you confirm that my account details are not compromised? thanksSolved427Visto0likes2ComentariosTraded in iphone 12 mini and tmobile claims it was damaged
Traded in my Daughter's iPhone 12 mini in near perfect condition (I know because I'm the one that transferred her data over to her new phone, wiped down her old phone, left it in its case, and then packed and shipped it myself) only for them to claim they received the phone damaged. In the pictures they provided her case isn't on the phone anymore and the phone has fingerprints and grime all over the screen. Like I said before, I cleaned the entire phone before packing. It was clean all around, not a fingerprint on it. So now, instead of the $999 credit, they're offering me $43. What a complete scam!! Something is not adding up.19Visto0likes0ComentariosSpam Caller: +1 805 637 7243
This # has been leaving voice messages ever since I got my phone in 2018. Every time I shut down my phone then turn it back on it says that I have a new voice message from the same #. Then its says that voice mail was detected using SMS but I haven't even been able to set up my voice mail. So I Googled the # to see if anyone else was having this problem and I found that this # is from Santa Barbara and many people have had this issue just like me and most of them said that this # had something to do with T-Mobile. Then I heard that this # was a viruse or a hacker trying to get into your phone which almost gave me a heart attack. So if you could explain to me what this # really is then that would be great.159KViews1like29Comentariosdid anyone else get scammed by tmobile
joined t-mobile about a month ago. was told we would get the 55+ plan that costs $110 a month and our two iphone 15 pros would cost less than $8 each per month and we would get autopay making our bill about $115-116 a month. They charged us $154. Called the bill pay customer service folks and they said the deal I qualified for didn't exist under that specific plan even though I was told otherwise. Shame on you tmobile. They said I could qualify for the discount on the phones if I just add $20 to my bill. I don't know how these people sleep at night. When you demonstrate shady business practices you will eventually get caught.Solved1.5KViews2likes6ComentariosCan I block calls from an entire area code or specific exchange?
I am receiving several calls per day (3 to 5) but every single day no matter how many times I block the number they simply call from a new one. These are robocalls, political solicitations, and survey types and it is getting intolerable. They do come from only a handful of area codes like Washington DC (202) and some from 771 but some come from a particular exchange within an area code like 715 and only the last 4 digits change each time. That's 10,000 calls per exchange which makes me want to just not have a phone at all. I am already on the "do not call registry". Anyone know how this can be done?Solved115Visto0likes2Comentariostmobile data limits scam
