22 Topicsservice outage
All day my service has been cutting out repeatedly. One second I'll have three bars it'll say 5G for a few minutes and then suddenly it says SOS and I have no service for about 30 minutes. This has gone on for hours today. I'm wondering has anybody else in the Connecticut area experienced anything similar?304Visto2likes3ComentariosGood signal/bars but no network connection many times daily
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. ¿Tienes alguna idea?88KViews22likes79ComentariosWent from 3 bars to 1 after upgrade
I upgraded to the Iphone 12 almost two years ago. Since then I had 3 bars in my house across all devices. Now as of September 2022 after "upgrades" to towers I now have 0 bars in my house across all devices. Turn phones off an on again, updating software does not work. I look at the online coverage map it says I should have 4G. I contacted customer support they said their was a service lock on my phones and transferred me to technical assistance. The person I talked to says they show noservice in my area. This is unconscionable. How can my family go from 3 bars to none after T-mobile network upgrades to towers as of September? How can T-mobile show bright pink coverage for my address and yet no service according to your tech support? Is T-mobile forcing phone upgrades if they want signal. What has happened and what am I paying for?!!258Visto1like5ComentariosN71 5g band FULL BARS fast download and upload and low latency, but this....
I monitor my connections in real time. The 5g band of N71 running at the lower frequency is super great, full signal bars and gives me superb performance. The LTE band will change in an ongoing loop of LTE B2 connecting instantly to 5G N71, then dropping N71 and going to LTE B66 and reconnecting instantly to 5G N71, then dropping my 5G N71 band to allow LTE B71 while searching for a different 5G signal than 5G N71, then cycling back to LTE B2 and instant 5G N71 connection and continuing this loop of cutting my 5G service which does not need disconnected from as it is near perfect and FULL signal. B71 has the same full signal strength as the 5G N71 yet upon either the tower or the gateway or both <according to tech support I just got off the phone with>, the powers that be will not allow my GREAT N71 connection to stay connected at all times. She could not provide me the answer as to why this happens and why I cannot stay on a working 5G signal that is great. Upon asking if I got my own gateway and committed the band selection to stay on N71 if the signal would hold at all times. She said it would be something to test as she does not know and informed me there is no higher level of tech support or anyone in the whole company that could help with this and explain why this is going on. Someone does have control of this in Tmobile somewhere. How come I cannot get my internet 5g to stay connected to the 5G band of N71 as no other 5G bands will connect at all when I am receiving a FULL Strength signal of the lower frequency 5G band N71 when it goes through this cycle loop, causing severe latency issues and hindering me from staying connected to a 5G signal which is working flawlessly as I do pay my bill and should be able to stay on a near perfect 5G signal on band N71? I lose my perfectly working 5G internet due to the releasing of the signal as either the tower, gateway or BOTH are working against this.Support can offer NO ANSWER at all….who do I talk to so that I can get the service I pay for and is proven to be working flawlessly when the service provided by TMOBILE is being completely DUMB sand STUPid for a lack of better words? I pay for 5G please let me use the signal that is in my house coming to my gateway at the best connection I have ever had in my residence on the N71 5G band. My internet is advertised as Tmobile 5G home internet, says it on the bill. Am I not being denied the service I pay for? for whatever reason? 5G band N71 works flawlessly and the technology they are using or the code which is running the tower and/or gateway is denying me of great 5G internet and Tmobile is not providing the working 5G N71 signal to do the job I am paying them for. I've had T-Mobile service for the last 8 months. For the first 6 months it was fantastic. I was getting 800+ download speeds and almost 100 upload speed. Over the course of the last 2 months I have been switched to their 4G service in which I'm only getting an average of about 120 download and about 5 upload. I've called multiple times and I get the same excuse every time which is they are upgrading their towers. I am positioned almost in the center between three towers and one of them. I'm about a quarter of a mile away from. I can see it from my house. I'm fed up with this low bar of service. As I'm typing this out I have another ISP installing fiber. As soon as he is done, I am calling T-Mobile to cancel my service. I wish you all the best of luck with T-Mobile and I hope that their service gets better for the rest of you who are having issues. As for me, my wife and I both work from home and we can't work with this slow service.977Visto0likes1ComentarioI am thrilled!!
After years of dealing with AT&T, with their customer service reps who cannot speak English andtransfer your problem a dozen times with no resolve, their screwed up billing, their inability to transfer an account to a new address, their daily internet outages, their overcharging and general mayhem, I am thrilled to be with TMobile! I was able to set up my internet with NO human contact, the customer service rep with whom I changed my payment date spoke perfect English and the price is right and the connection perfect! Anyonewho has complaints should switch to AT&T for a year or so to see how good you have it now!50Visto0likes2ComentariosSwipe to accept the call, call timer remains on 00:00, call is dead already.
I have been ATT customer at the same address for 15+ years. Last month changed to T-Mobile with brand new iphone 15 pro and having many technical issues. once a day its either a call drop, not able to hear other party or call not going through at all. Recently, a new technical issue popped up. When receiving call, I swipe to accept. I can not hear other side, so when I check screen, the call timer remains on 00:00!! The person left a VM and that arrived NEXT Day full 24hr later. It was a highly important call and I am SO FRUSTRADED. No one died, otherwise instead of this forum, I would be on legal law firm forum, andthinking aboutservicemillineries use!?27Visto0likes0ComentariosCustomer service is almost as bad as actual phone service
Having switched from Verizon Wireless to T-Mobile about 20 months ago, I have regretted the decision almost from Day 1. I did it for the lower monthly payments, and those have come true. However, they have come with quite a cost…..about half the time my phone literally will not dial out. I'll "hit" a contact to make a call, and then I'll be greeted by stone silence. There's no ringing, dialing, etc. After waiting a while, I hang up -- which takes about 10 to 12 seconds -- and hit "redial." Then, the call usually starts dialing and goes through. That would be bad enough, but far too often when I'm able to complete a phone call it disconnects mid-sentence. For no apparent reason, the call just drops. These problems -- both the failure to dial out and the dropping of calls -- have no pattern. They happen at home and when I'm driving, and they happen at all times of day. No, the local "tower" is not having issues. It is not an "outage" problem. It's a system problem that seems to impact Android users more than Apple users. As a "solution" to my problems, Tech Support switched me from the promotional Galaxy A12 to the REVVL 6 Pro 5G. Now, my problems remain the same; nothing has improved. Amazingly, the local T-Mobile store employee confided to me that the REVVL is crap. Thanks T-Mobile! So, to recap, my problem with T-Mobile has nothing to do with special apps, features or promotions -- all the gimmicky stuff found on T-Mobile Tuesdays. My problem with them is that they just don't provide basic telephone service. Is anyone else in this same boat?! Is there a special place in hell for T-Mobile executives who certainly are aware of this problem and are content to not fix it? I guess time will tell.1KViews9likes14ComentariosFull bars/coverage then no service
I have a Galaxy S22 Plus and for the last couple of months, my phone will have full 5G service but when I go to make a call, use an app or send a text message my phone will flip to no service and tell me I am not connected to the network. I can be outside, indoors, in high coverage areas and no matter what I have been struggling to use my phone. Friends/family cannot get ahold of me often because of this. The only time the phone will work consistently is if I am on wifi, this is terrible service and I am contemplating switching carriers because of this.311Visto0likes3Comentarios
