15 Topicshas anyone else been scammed by T-Mobile?
Hello, fellow T-Mobile customers. I am merely writing this with the hope that someone atT-Mobile will read it and FINALLY, after SEVENmonths of headaches, fix and properly bill me. In December of 2022 I turned in my iPhone XR in exchange for the iPhone 14 and added a line because T-Mobile was running an $800 off the new phone promo. I handed my phone over to an associate in the store. Well, we are coming up on July 2023 and every monthI have to waste my time fighting to have my bill corrected because every month T-Mobile does not apply the promo (bill credits.) Every month whomever helps me promises that they have updated and fixed the error, but the next month it is the same old story. At some point I was told that they never received my trade-in, which is absurd because it was not lost in the mail or something. I handed it over in the store! So, did the associate pocket my trade-in??I was told they would investigate and follow up with me. I never received a follow-up, and then I was incorrectly billed again. Nobody at T-Mobile will provide a point of contact, someone who I can communicate with so that I do not have to spend an hour+ every month explaining the problem againwith someone new. It is terrible service. I have been more than patient. This is ridiculous. I would NEVER ever ever recommend T-Mobile to anyone based on this experience. I feel stuck because if I cancel my service with T-Mobilethen they will say that I still owe the balance of the iPhone 14. I am happy to pay the small amount that I might actually owe at this point, but they mightsay I am working off the full cost of a new phone, vs the $300 that it should be because of the promo. T-Mobile, please fix my account! Please bill me properly! At this point I feel that you have stolen my iPhone XR and are ripping me off/trying to steal more from me by not honoring the promo.9.7KViews29likes47ComentariosT-mobile lost my trade in, warehouse never scam my device. They refused to do anything
We sent in 4 device for trade-in. All device were shown received by warehouse. 3 device got scanned in and credit it. 1 device never got scan and T-mobile refused to do anything. They keep calling and asking for help because they couldn't find my device. Their respond was that our warehouse didn't scan your device, there is nothing that can be done if we did not scan your device. They won't allow this to escalate or lost or stolen device. My tracking shows clearly it was delivered the same way my other 3 device were trade-in. They do not suggest it was lost or stolen because they claim they have the safety security camera in place. I have been dealing with them for over 3 months now and they just wouldn't have an answer for me. I see so many post about this same issue but yet their respond was " we do not lose device when it gets sent to our warehouse". I find it unreal that there is no check and balance system. Share your experience with me because I have seen many others and lately is getting worst.1.7KViews3likes17ComentariosPhone stolen, how do i lock sim card?
My phone was stolen last night and I am currently in Europe, I can't access My T-Mobile because the they are "implementing PIN/Passcodes as an additional security measure." and only offer a text message to the phone number as a location to send the code. I can access the email that is registered with the account. Can I buy a sim card in Europe and have them activate that on my account? I'm worried that if someone gained access to my phone they could reset my accounts just by using the text message verification.Solved1.6KViews0likes10Comentariostrade in phone stolen while in transit with ups and empty box delivered.
I sent my trade in phone in a box with prepaid label by UPS. I have a drop off receipt with a weight of .45 lbs. My trade in was delivered at the Dock with a weight of .20 lbs. T mobile said box was empty. I am being charged $33.34 a month for a $799 S22 that was supposed to be free with my trade in. I did everything correctly. Obviously, the phone was removed from the box while in transit with UPS. MY responsibility ended when I dropped off the phone in box with prepaid label and got a receipt. Isn't T Mobile responsible for investigating UPS theft?722Visto0likes3ComentariosUPS Stole My iPhone15 Pro Package
I placed an order for the iPhone 15 Pro on Sept 21,2023 which I paid in full. I get an email from T-Mobile with the tracking number on the 25th. On Tuesday, September 26, I get an email from UPS saying the package will arrive that day with a delivery window between 1:45 and 3:45pm. So I make a UPS account to access the tracking map since I have to be home to sign off on it. I see the truck in my area making deliveries on other streets. The truck is getting closer to my street but for some reason it skips my house and goes to other streets. I'm thinking it'll come back since it's not that far away, but it just gets further and further until the truck is back at the warehouse. I was patient knowing things like this happen, and the next day the UPS tracking website says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". This gave me flashbacks from last year when this happened to my macbook delivery from apple.com (which took a month for me to receive it). Today on Sept 28th, I contacted UPS who looked into the shipment...apparently it was stolen according to them and they told me to contact T-Mobile. I call T-Mobile, and the lady said that she'll give me a call back in five days which is Tuesday, October 3rd. Should I file a claim with ups now, or wait until I (hopefully) hear back from T-Mobile on Tuesday. And if this happened to anyone else, how was it resolved?Solved499Visto0likes2ComentariosSTOLEN PHONE UPS
I picked up my package from aUPS sub store, only to open it and find my phone missing. Customer service didn't assist very much and UPS said that I was unable to file a claim. After speaking to 3 different T-Mobile cc agents, Iwas told that it can take 5-10 days to be resolved, that the phone imeic would be deactivated internationally wide, and thenI received 2 emails with return package slips for a phone I did not receive. I log in to my T-Mobile account this morning and the return shipping information is there also. I'm so confused and upset. How can you send me a return shipping label for a phone a called to report stolen?! So I decided to go to google for answers and what I have found is thatthis type of thing is a regular occurrence between T-Mobile and UPS. Why on earth haven't either company put in better security measures? How can the phones truly be deactivated if this type of theft is reoccurring?372Visto0likes2ComentariosDid UPS Really lose my package...again!??
About a year ago, I ordered an ipad and never received. I followed up with Tmobile and eventually they cancelled the order and didnt charge me. However, they said, we wont credit your account the next time as if it were my fault. Mind you, the package was never delivered or attempted to be delivered. It never made it out of the UPS warehouse.it was the first time that happened and I've been with tmboile for 10 years. So this week, I order a phone for my daughter online to save $20. I should have ordered in person and paid the damn 20 dollars. The package appears to be in the warehouse for the last two days and still no delivery. I already can imagine how this is going to do and I'm dreading it. What's worse, I probably have to wait a few more days before anyting could be done about it. This is the absolute last time i order online or use UPS. Please switch to a different carrier!355Visto0likes1ComentarioPhone order stolen
I went to upgrade my phone to aSamsung Galaxy S22 Ultra on 10/25 in store. The store did not have the phone so it needed to be ordered. I was reluctant to do this which is why I went in store to get the phone. I was told that the shipment was for next day delivery but it was actually 2nd day delivery - no big deal. However, on the 2nd day I stay home all day to receive the shipment since it required a signature. I keep an eye on the shipment's tracking online and at 5:13pm, I see that it has been delivered but I did not sign for it. I check my mailbox and around my house and neighbors and I cannot locate it. I don't normally have issues with stolen packages in my area and Ibelieve that it was stolen by UPS. Reason I believe that is because it was marked as delivered to me and that Isigned for it which is untrue. I've already reached out to UPS and filed a claim and I've contacted T-Mobile who said it's gong to take a few business days to look into. I'm not sure what else to do at this point and I'm afraid I might be out of the money I paid to upgrade the phone and the monthly fee I will be charged for the phone.175Visto0likes2Comentarios
