We had to get a new router, but we set everything up to have the same WiFi name and password. Now the app won't recognize the new device and can't connect to the old device (as it stopped turning on). I can't see any of the devices connected to the router or control anything because it's like the app just doesn't recognize this new router. I deleted the old router in the app(or at least what I hope was the old one) to see if that would help, but nothing changed. When it does "connect" it says no devices are connected, even though we have numerous connected. I just don't know how to get the app and the router to connect. The router still says to download the app to set up the network, even though everything is already connected. Should I just factory reset the new router? I'd rather not if I don't have to.Solved149Visto0likes3ComentariosSecurity cameras not connecting to T Mobile Internet?
I switched to T-Mobile Internet last week and got a Gateway that says it's by Arcadyan. WiFi works great on phone and computers, but when trying to set up the home security cameras, it won't connect. I have both Blink and Panasonic cameras and have tried both on the 5G and the 2.4 and neither network is working. Also reset and restarted everything multiple times. What else could I try??17KViews3likes31ComentariosT-mobile gateway with seperate router
I'm just starting out on T-Mobile home internet but didn't want to stop using my Asus Router which is set up nicely already to handle everything in this household (both wifi and ethernet). Here's what I did to avoid any problems. I hooked my Router's WAN port (which use to go to my cable modem) to one of the two ethernet ports on the back of the T-Mobile Gateway. To avoid double NAT and other problems, I went to Administration on my Asus RT-AX82U and changed it from Wireless Router to Access Point. I made sure to download the Device Discovery Utility linked under Access Point before saving the change so I could get the Router IP address to log into it after the Router reboots. Then just type the new IP into the browser to continue managing the Router. I hope this helps anyone that simply wants to keep using their Router and it's setup with the T-Mobile Gateway. I can't totally disable the wifi in the T-Mobile Gateway (mine is the Sagemcom), but I switched it to 5Ghz only in the Tmobile app to cut down on any interference (which hasn't been a problem anyway) and still only use the WiFi from my Asus Router.4.8KViews6likes11ComentariosPrinter not showing in Devices tab of the app.
So I have the T-Mobile 5G gateway serving internet and wi-fi in my house. Today I connected my printer to the wi-fi network and it works fine, can print from my devices via the wi-fi network, all is well. But I open the T-Mobile Internet app on my phone and look at the devices in the "Manage devices" tab, and the printer is not listed. Why? Is there a limit to how many devices will be listed? (I have 6 listed).65Visto0likes0ComentariosWhy won't my Apple devices print using the new T-Mobile Cylinder/ Gateway router's wifi?
New Gateway Cyliner router working great, except none of our Apple products can print via wifi. "No air printers found" is the error they return when we try. I've tried to troubleshoot using both Apple and T-Mobile customer service and no one seems to be able to help. Is it because of WPS? The printer is on wifi because we can print from any other devices. If we can't figure this out, the router is going back.2.5KViews2likes10Comentariosthis from the heart to T-Mobile home internet/gateway

My canon printer wouldn't prompt for a network password on my T-Mobile gateway and I read here that a wifi repeater would do the trick. I have tried setting itup several times (resetting in between attempts) and the only time the "connected to host" light will light solid is if I connect with an ethernet cable (but that messes with all our device connections). What is the fix to get it to communicate? Power is on, Wifi light is on, and the indicator shows it's connected to the internet, but there is no connection to the host. Does that even make any sense?Solved452Visto0likes16ComentariosHome Internet Goes Out Every Couple of Hours
I switched my home internet to Tmobile last June and haven't any issues until this week. My internet keeps going out every couple of hours. Turning the tmobile router on and off temporarily fixes the issue only for it to happen again sometimes in less than a half hour. When it does this I can connect to my wifi network but it doesn't have internet connection if that means anything specific. My signal strength on the home internet app always shows Very Good or Excellent. Does it matter that I got a new Sony TV last week? Sometimes it's on only the 2.4 ghz that stops and the 5ghz will still work sometimes it's both. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.7.4KViews8likes26Comentarios
