I've been running my work IP phone for over months with T-Mobile Home Internet with no change and all the sudden my desk phone will no longer work. WOrking with my company (we deploy this phone service) it appears that SIP/ALG may be the issue but can't find anything about disabling it on the Tmobile router. I'll need to get this resolved of will have to go back to a fiber connection.699Visto1like3ComentariosT-Mobile Home Internet Review
I have been using T-Mobile Home Internet for a couple of months now. I recently upgraded to the 5G Gateway, which has made my WiFi much better Vs. the LTE Gateway which sucked and had a lot of restrictions. The 5G Gateway is sleek, easy to use, and comes included with your Home Internet Plan! My experience has been exemplary, apart from a few issues. I have the following issues with T-Mobile Home Internet: •No UPnP Option which causes issues using XBL. •No Port Forwarding which causes a Moderate NAT on XBL •Some VPN applications do not work. •The Online GUI is limited and watered down. T-Mobile should really fix these issues, as it's bothering other Customers as well. Overall T-Mobile Home Internet is great for those who don't play on XBL, PSN, or PC or require a VPN to be used for work or personal use.28KViews5likes23ComentariosBlocked From The Network
For multiple days, every morning my phone gets blocked off the network. I always have to tell someone to get the app and reactivate it, Ive tried doing it myself multiple times on my laptop but it just shows the status of the gateway. None of my family members have the app but me and my dad. But either way somehow my phone gets deactivated every morning, What can I do about this?44Visto0likes0ComentariosConsistent disconnects and low speeds
Lately, I've noticed my connection dropping every few minutes for a couple seconds, just enough to disrupt anything that requires stable connection. On top of that, my speeds have gone down to 10-20 down and 30 up, (unless I'm talking to support, then they're miraculously 100+ both ways🙄 (that's a whole other conspiracy)) Support is claiming work on the tower, which is a possibility I suppose. Upon digging deeper into it though,I figured out which tower I'm connected to via CGI info, and it's literally the one in my backyard, 300 yards away. Now, I can see that tower from my desk, and there has not been any work there for months now. The driveway leading to it has a huge tree down across is. So unless it's remote updates, I don't think there's been work to it. Even more baffling, is that this tower, according to Cellmapper, doesn't even cover my home, it's apparently pointed the opposite direction. The tower that best covers me is 1.7 miles away. Advanced metrics reads as follows. Unfortunately, I never checked this info when times were good to compare it to now. The two that are currently "Good" do convert to "Excellent" a lot of the time. The "Poor" SINR is very rarely above a 4, no matter where it is in my house, and then other stats drop down in quality anyway.I've tried moving it around, and this is about as good as it gets location wise. Tool in the app confirms it as well. RSSI LTE - Excellent (-69) RSRQ 5G - Good (-12) LTE - Excellent (-7) RSRP 5G - Good (-84) LTE - Excellent (-78) SINR 5G - Poor (2) LTE - Excellent (21) Band 5G - n41 LTE - b66 Anyone have any idea what's going on?82Visto0likes1ComentarioJust got a 5G Gateway, trying to split 2.4 and 5 ghz bands - no option, even in web UI
There doesn't seem to be an option to split the 2.4 and 5ghz wifi bands anymore? In the manual for the gate way it says you can do it in the web UI, but when I log in there is no option for it. Same in the app. I have devices that can only run on 2.4 ghz, so I really need to have thia feature... any solutions?26KViews4likes16ComentariosVPN and Outlook
I just got T-Mobile internet. When I log onto Outlook and VPN my email disconnects. This used to be a problem when connecting to hot spot with T-Mobile and some how it eventually resolved. I'm going to have to return the Gateway and cancel internet if I can't get VPN access to work correctly. Frustrating because I only seem to have the problem with T-Mobile. Anyone experiencing the same problem?63Visto0likes0ComentariosHow to connect hp officejet pro 8610 to wifi

High Speed Gateway Problems!
I had the original LTE Gateway and it was decent. Upgraded to the High Speed Gateway and even though my speeds and general connectivity are better, there is something seriously wrong with the Home Internet Service. Why are a lot of the settings and features that were in the original Gateway not available on the new 5G Gateway? My biggest issue is the fact that my Google Home Devices do not want to connect or stay connected once they are! I only have a Mini, Insignia speaker, Lenovo clock, Google TV, and one smart bulb. A lot of the time, the devices show connected but don't work. It takes a lot of effort to even get them all connected. I've even tried changing the security to WPA/WPA2 + TKP (SP?) as recommended for older devices that may not see your network. All my devices see the network and even connect but there is a major issue with the Gateway or Home Internet service that won't allow them to connect properly or stay connected. Very disappointed and this is a first for me feeling this way about T-Mobile. I had much better service with the old Gateway and tempted to keep it and return the new one even though I have better speeds and 5G. I might as well use my phone unlimited hotspot or my tablet which I've used as hotspot and never had issues with using my devices with it. Expected way better than this. I understand there are limitations compared to regular wifi service but not this. Basic settings and features are not enabled for some reason, yet they were on the old Gateway. That's my rant. I'll be reaching out to them but felt the need to post here and look for some help or answers.2.7KViews5likes11Comentarios5G and Alexa
I have great 5G signal and streaming on all of my TV's except one. It's anAmazon Fire, so I think the problem is the same as with Alexa. It worked fine and then Ichanged the the password and network name and that was the end of Alexa and the the Amazon Fire TV. I'd be happy just to get me Alexa and Echo Dots back online for basic stuff. I don't want to make or receive calls through them, just music, alarms, weather, etc. Any help connecting would be greatly appreciated. I've been through hours of phone calls with customer service, but still no resolution????57Visto0likes1ComentarioWifi suddenly gone bad
After the T-Mobile-sys-link WIFI'sshowed up my WIFI has been horrible. I'm not sure why. I checked the T-Mobile WIFI app and it said only my WIFI "TMOBILE-47D5" is the only WIFI there. Before those other WIFI'S showed up i got around 30-60 download and 2.5-5 Upload. My ping is still the same though. The WIFI'S showed up around 5-6 days ago and honestly I just thought my WIFI was being bad so I tried waiting it out but it showed no difference. I'm not sure why this is happening but I can't do my job I'm really considering about switching to frontier if i can't get this fixed AFTERSolved645Visto0likes12Comentarios
