After iOS 18 was made available, I had downloaded the update on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was anticipating trying out the RCS messaging feature, I discovered right away that it isn't allowing rcs messages to be sent or received. in order to try to resolve the issue I went and searched for solutions. I have tried, restarting the phone, toggling on and off airplane mode, and resetting network settings. NONE of these solutions worked. last thing I did was I checked for a carrier updated and it is up to date. I further checked the IMS status and it shows that only voice and sms is allowed, and RCS is missing. knowing that is under E-SIM, I knew it had to do with T-mobile. I have called T-Mobile customer care 3 times. the first call, they weren't knowledgeable on the subject of RCS. eventually I was transferred to a "Tech Specialist" that created a trouble ticket. a second call to see If I could get a knowledgeable customer service rep and I was referred to Apple suspecting it was a software problem. Apple refers me back to T-mobile stating that they don't have control over the RCS working on the network and that is the issue of T-Mobile. attempt 3 with T-Mobile consisted of deleting my E-SIM and downloading a new one, which did not fix the RCS unavailability fiasco. I was suggested that I do a factory reset or a settings reset but at this point I don't think this the problem. Has anyone experienced this problem? if so have you resolved it? whad did you do? if it is all about IMS allowing RCS, how did you fix that? thanks in advance.Solved11KViews1like39ComentariosIssue w/ receiving various 2FA SMS texts
It seems that the past week or two I've been having an issue receiving SMS text messages, from both contacts set in my iPhone & time sensitive ones for 2FA. I've turned phone off & waited several minutes to turn it back on. The latest one, ironically, was from T-Mobile when I participated in a Red Cross disaster relief thing last night….I texted at 8:35p EST & just received confirmation at 11:26a this morning.58Visto0likes2Comentarios127 or 128 mean in my incoming text log

My child's SyncUP watch 2 is not receiving incoming audio text messages from contacts. Regular written texts come in, emojis come in, photos come in, phone calls come in, and video chat calls come in... HOWEVER, I send audio voice text messages from my Galaxy Android phone and they aren't received on his watch. There's no error shown on my phone. It shows that an MMS text was sent successfully. I've tried restarting his watch and restarting my phone but that didn't help. He is able to send me audio texts from his watch to my phone without any issues. Any ideas why my audio text messages aren't being received? Any settings I can check?95Visto0likes4ComentariosPeople Outside of T-Mobile Not Receiving My Texts
Hi everyone! As of late Wednesday, it appears that people who do not have T-Mobile aren't receiving my text messages. To me, they look like they're sent, however, both Verizon and AT&T customers aren't receiving anything on their end. I spoke to T-Mobile via Facebook and I've done the following: Cleared cache on phone Cleared cache and data on messages app Made sure all apps (Google Play and Galaxy Store) were up-to-date Made sure phone was up-to-date Reset network settings Reset all settings Deleted all messages in my phone (and emptied the trash) Turned on and off airplane mode Turned on and off most connections/network type settings Restarted my phone way too many times They told me I can come in-person today and get a new SIM card. I'm hoping that fixes it, however, I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or has ideas? T-Mobile says my account looks fine and everything on their end looks fine. My phone is a Galaxy S21 and is only 1.5 years old, and I've been with T-Mobile for years.10KViews1like50Comentariossudden text/SMS problems on galaxy s22+
noticed at around 7pm CST last night, my phone started having problems sending text and SMS messages. hit send in the samsung messages app, and the little ‘sending’ pinwheel would just spin and spin. sometimes, after 5-10 mins, it would send. picture/multimedia messages are all still failing with a ‘network error occurred’ pop up. ive rebooted my phone several times. toggled airplane mode on and off several times toggled to 4g lte only network, and back ‘reset’ my mobile network settings nothing has helped so far. i can surf the internet on 5G, so i dont think its a data service issue (yet). seems limited to text and sms. tests seem to be sending better today, but still takes anywhere between 5-30 seconds for the pinwheel to stop and the message to be sent. sometimes ill get double or more copies of replies. any issues going on in the west minneapolis metro? edit: issues with texts have returned. just saw a pop up ‘ unable to send messages. they will be sent when the service [returns?]’ it flashed up and went away pretty quickly, so i wasnt able to recount the exact error message. 5 bars of 5G UC, but says (searching) in the upper left corner. tower issue perhaps? toggled airplane mode off and on again to force a mobile network reconnection, now says t mobile in the upper left corner of my screen. texts are taking 10-30secs to send again, but hey! at least they send, i guess.. getting pretty annoyed!41Visto0likes0Comentariospartially blind and dyslexic and sold a phone that was supposed to have facial recognition and the ability to read to me not even close and t mobile wont make it right
