80 TopicsText messages are randomly delayed by up to a day
I've been seeing this off and on for months in group texts mostly, but also in direct texts as well. The problem is that text messages are often delayed by up to 24 hours and then dumped all at once into my phone. This is looking to be a TMobile issue. I'm on an iPhone 11 Pro with the latest version of iOS. To sum up: This is only with text messages, not iMessage or other messaging apps. This happens when I have a good signal and a wifi connection in my house, but it has also happened when I'm out and have only cellular, but still a good signal. The other people in group chats are spread across numerous different carriers. None of them have reported this. The usual phone troubleshooting steps (quit the Messages application, restart the phone, etc) do absolutely nothing. I checked the activity logs in my TMobile account. The text messages in question all came through at the same time according to the logs. It looks like it's somehow getting delayed inside of TMobile's system. I've missed some texts due to this that were relatively time-sensitive. I don't think I need to express my frustration at something as old and dead-simple as SMS/MMS getting screwed up like this. It also doesn't help my frustration when the browser based Places/Topics Browser is hopelessly broken and the page I'm using to write this keeps auto-scrolling down when I interact with a number of elements on the page.42KViews22likes37ComentariosMensajes
When I send a text message to a certain person my text messages show Sent as SMS via Server. I have not changed anything on my phone settings or message settings. It only happens with one person and no one else. How can I fix this or turn that off. I've turned off my sent, delivery and typingnotifications. Anyone else having this issue? I have the Galaxy Note 20 and they have Google One, I believe.27KViews0likes12ComentariosDelay in sending picture text messages
I am having a huge delay in sending a picture via text message. At times it takes twenty minutes at others it takes ten minutes, and that is if it sends at all. Regular texts go through right away. The pictures i send are ones i take, or screenshots so they aren't very big. This very annoying, does anybody know what I can do to fix this? It's only in sending, I receive pictures from other people with no problem.26KViews4likes41Comentariostexts not received from other carriers
Hi! I have been a T-Mobile customer for approximately 2 weeks. When I first transferred my service from Verizon, I was receiving all of my text messages. Two days after switching, all texts stopped from people outside of T-Mobile. I can send text messages and people receive them but I cannot receive text messages from anybody with another carrier, and I cannot receive MMS messages from T-Mobile users. When I contacted customer service, they directed my issue to engineering who responded that I needed a new sim card. I went into the T-Mobile store, got a new SIM, which did not make my text messages push through. So, they thought that it was a device issue and I purchased a new Pixel 4A. The issue still is not fixed. When I re-contacted customer service, they put another request for the engineers. My text messages pushed through approximately 3 to 4 days later. Then I stopped receiving messages again and it was pushed back to engineering. A few days after that all of my text messages came through and I had messaging for about 5 days. Yet again, my messages stopped. Engineers' response was that I need a new phone. I'm not quite sure how that would fix this issue because I already did get a new phone with a new SIM card and that didn't fix the messaging issue. Does anybody have an idea?19KViews1like27Comentarios127 or 128 mean in my incoming text log

After iOS 18 was made available, I had downloaded the update on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was anticipating trying out the RCS messaging feature, I discovered right away that it isn't allowing rcs messages to be sent or received. in order to try to resolve the issue I went and searched for solutions. I have tried, restarting the phone, toggling on and off airplane mode, and resetting network settings. NONE of these solutions worked. last thing I did was I checked for a carrier updated and it is up to date. I further checked the IMS status and it shows that only voice and sms is allowed, and RCS is missing. knowing that is under E-SIM, I knew it had to do with T-mobile. I have called T-Mobile customer care 3 times. the first call, they weren't knowledgeable on the subject of RCS. eventually I was transferred to a "Tech Specialist" that created a trouble ticket. a second call to see If I could get a knowledgeable customer service rep and I was referred to Apple suspecting it was a software problem. Apple refers me back to T-mobile stating that they don't have control over the RCS working on the network and that is the issue of T-Mobile. attempt 3 with T-Mobile consisted of deleting my E-SIM and downloading a new one, which did not fix the RCS unavailability fiasco. I was suggested that I do a factory reset or a settings reset but at this point I don't think this the problem. Has anyone experienced this problem? if so have you resolved it? whad did you do? if it is all about IMS allowing RCS, how did you fix that? thanks in advance.Solved11KViews1like39ComentariosPeople Outside of T-Mobile Not Receiving My Texts
Hi everyone! As of late Wednesday, it appears that people who do not have T-Mobile aren't receiving my text messages. To me, they look like they're sent, however, both Verizon and AT&T customers aren't receiving anything on their end. I spoke to T-Mobile via Facebook and I've done the following: Cleared cache on phone Cleared cache and data on messages app Made sure all apps (Google Play and Galaxy Store) were up-to-date Made sure phone was up-to-date Reset network settings Reset all settings Deleted all messages in my phone (and emptied the trash) Turned on and off airplane mode Turned on and off most connections/network type settings Restarted my phone way too many times They told me I can come in-person today and get a new SIM card. I'm hoping that fixes it, however, I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or has ideas? T-Mobile says my account looks fine and everything on their end looks fine. My phone is a Galaxy S21 and is only 1.5 years old, and I've been with T-Mobile for years.10KViews1like50ComentariosNot receiving texts from Verizon carriers!
Hello Everyone, I'm looking for some sort of help if anyone has encountered the issue that I am having. I recently tried to make a switch over to Verizon from T-mobile and had begun the process online. Mistake number 1. In trying to do so I did not realized that I needed transfer of liability from the account that I was under in order to have my own account. After realizing how much of a mess it was to even do that I decided it was not worth it to switch after all and decided to stick with T-Mobile. Before my number could be on my own account the T-mobile rep said that my number was ported to verizon and needed to be ported back. I had called Verizon and had them port my number back as they said my number was only partially ported. After all that I had my own account on T-mobile. Now I am not receiving messages from ANY Verizon carriers and I dont know what is going on. Verizon carriers are able to receive my messages and calls but I cannot receive messages from them, just calls. I have spoken to multiple people with tmobile up to the engineers and they have stated that everything is clean on their end and have even rebroadcasted my number. I have tried every possible thing that I could on the phone in order to see if I could resolve the issue but have not had any luck. I talked with a verizon rep today and they said that my account would be deactivated when the billing cycle ends in February but only stated the messaging issue was on tmobiles end. I am stuck, losing serious hope, and no longer know what to do. Can anyone help???????9.2KViews2likes42Comentarios
