11 TopicsiPhone wil not send an RCS message after updating to iOS 18
After iOS 18 was made available, I had downloaded the update on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was anticipating trying out the RCS messaging feature, I discovered right away that it isn't allowing rcs messages to be sent or received. in order to try to resolve the issue I went and searched for solutions. I have tried, restarting the phone, toggling on and off airplane mode, and resetting network settings. NONE of these solutions worked. last thing I did was I checked for a carrier updated and it is up to date. I further checked the IMS status and it shows that only voice and sms is allowed, and RCS is missing. knowing that is under E-SIM, I knew it had to do with T-mobile. I have called T-Mobile customer care 3 times. the first call, they weren't knowledgeable on the subject of RCS. eventually I was transferred to a "Tech Specialist" that created a trouble ticket. a second call to see If I could get a knowledgeable customer service rep and I was referred to Apple suspecting it was a software problem. Apple refers me back to T-mobile stating that they don't have control over the RCS working on the network and that is the issue of T-Mobile. attempt 3 with T-Mobile consisted of deleting my E-SIM and downloading a new one, which did not fix the RCS unavailability fiasco. I was suggested that I do a factory reset or a settings reset but at this point I don't think this the problem. Has anyone experienced this problem? if so have you resolved it? whad did you do? if it is all about IMS allowing RCS, how did you fix that? thanks in advance.Solved11KViews1like39ComentariosNot Receiving Text from some Andriod Contacts
Both phones on my account are no longer receiving texts from some of our contacts. The only commonality is that these contacts are not Iphone users. I have an Iphone 14 and the other phone is an Iphone 15. We recently changed from having a t-mobile business account to a personal account. When I was with ATT@TI set up a rule in Outlook to alert me via text messaging of important emails but now on T-Mobile its touch and go if it works! I get an error:550 5.1.1server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRT. I made a snap call with my bf but I was told not to text or call him. My parents check mymessage log on t-mobile every month so im scared they'll see it. It showed on my iPhone call history. Does anyone know if they'll be able to see it? When looking under the usage for my text messages I have noticed at times there can be multiple outgoing texts messages showing ( anywhere from 2-7)that I have only sent one message with the same time stamp. What would cause this?98Visto0likes0Comentarios
