3 TopicsT-MOBILE STOLE OVER $1100 DOLLARS FROM ME
In 2019 I decided to get the iPhone 11 Pro Max a few months after it came out (July). I decided to do a 2 year lease on it which cost $39.59 per month, just tacked on to each monthly phone bill. In April of 2020, T-Mobile buys Sprint, the carrier I purchased the phone through. My lease is still not completely paid, so I keep making payments. T-Mobile owned Sprint when my lease payment should have been removed from my bill. Fast forward to today, February 1st, 2024. I'm looking over my bill details and I notice that there's a charge on there that doesn't include my iPhone's protection plan stating that it's for leases. Confused, I check the leases tab and there are no active leases. I HAVE BEEN PAYING AN EXTRA $39.59 PER MONTH FOR 30 MONTHS ($1,187) FOR A PHONE THAT IS ALREADY PAID OFF. I call customer service and a very professional young lady named Diamond helps me, she tells me that they had to manually remove so many lease charges from people's bills. I asked if I could be refunded for these extra charges and she tells me that she can only refund 2 months worth of payments (under $80). I understand that she has protocols that will not allow me to talk with her supervisor so I don't even know why I bothered asking. I made sure to be really nice to her because at the end of the day, it's not HER who's been pocketing the equivalent of an extra YEAR'S WORTH OF PHONE BILLS from me. I have called customer service several times over the past few years for help on a few things, there have been PLENTY of times that they could have spotted this error. I am so upset about this and will be switching to a different phone company by February 21st (the day my bill is due) if I am not made whole. I advise anyone thinking of switching to T-Mobile to think twice about it, seeing as they clearly have no issue taking the hard-earned money that is not owed to them.96Visto0likes1Comentariohow $1,000 was stolen from me by T-Mobile
I was with Sprint for 2 years. Switch to T-Mobile. Within a year T-Mobile gobbled up Sprint. Other than Sprint I believe I've been with T-Mobile for 5 years or more. My average monthly bill runs $300 with four phones and two wireless camera systems with their own data packages. All my bills have been on time for the entire 5 years I've been with T-Mobile. Out of the blue my wife 22 ultra started heating up real bad and the screen would turn off and turn on randomly. No physical damage to device whatsoever. I called to see what I could do about it and I was told there was a four to six week back order to replace the 22 ultra. I told them I can't wait that long because it's a business line. And that I would just run it through my insurance instead of warranty. I was put on hold 10 minutes later they were sending me out a new phone to my house and it was an upgrade to a 23 ultra. And I was just requested to mail the 22 ultra back with no return package or anything. So I returned it. 4 weeks later I get $1,000 charge on my bill because I guess the screen got messed up during shipping. I spent almost 17 hours on the phone with T-Mobile and the way this was supposed to happen I was supposed to take this phone to a store and turn it in to receive my new phone but T-Mobile just decided to send me the phone to my house. And because the phone got broke during shipping I'm responsible for $1,000 and I had to cough that up and basically mess up a lot of other payments I have to make just to keep cell phone service running to make this $1,000 right. Keep in mind I offered to run this through my insurance and I would have paid $100 for my insurance to replace the phone. T-Mobile charge to send me a phone and have me send mine back and it gets damaged during shipping and now I'm screwed out of $1,000 with T-Mobile should have followed protocol and had me bring the phone in to their store which obviously it would have never got broke during shipping if they would have done that as far as I'm concerned T-Mobile stole $1,000 from me and I'll never forget that.45Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobile Stealing from Me
I triedT-Mobilehome internet service and added 2 lines. Did not work well at all. I changed all to a competitora few days after, I get good service now. The local T-Mobile store staff were great, they said I could try the internet for 15-day trial period. When I called T-Mobile after I cancelled, they said I had to pay a full month for the internet and the phone lines I dropped within a few days. T-Mobile is trying to steal from me! I talked to Mike, Agent ID# 1247262, a supervisor. Not very helpful, although he agreed to waive the fee for the home internet, after much discussion. Why so hard to waive the fee? He initially said he could not get into my account if I did not know my PIN. Really? He apologized for him saying he could not help me initially. I went back to the store, told them about my conversations, they were not happythat corporate T-Mobile would do this to me. The said theyare getting conflicting messages from corporate. A lot of ex-patsdepend on T-Mobile in Mexico, we need the good service down there on a competitive basis. Only two decent US providers down there. I can't recommend T-Mobile with this issue.270Visto0likes2Comentarios
