the last person I spoke to who was completely disregarding the fact that I was promised a phone w the features I need for my safety and daily lifeI am partially blind and dyslexic and need facial recognition and voice recognition so I can navigate my phone. I ordered my fam plan and 4 data Sims they offered me a phone but why didn't they offer me a tablet for my data? I've called at least 4 times since 1 am CST and the same guy or lady answers the phone but keep changing their name. And trust me it's them and they both kept hearing something totally when I literally keep saying exactly what I put up there and they keep repeating something either only a small part that isn't the issue or something entirely different. One thing I hate is repeating my self more than three times and I hung on on them and they've been calling me non stop on my 2 main voice lines. Idk is this is on purpose , they a tad slow, or they really can't hear and need hearing aids I am country and talk very loud and proper so I know I was heard. I got called by a tmobile store and said I was eligible for a 100% free line. I called customer support and the rep agreed and suggested to me that yes it was 100% true and free for being a loyal tmobile customer! So I agreed and accepted with my local store that called me and got the sim , and shortly after ported my number over. Then month later I get new bill and I am being charged for it. So I called customer support, they told me I missed the "promotion " period and they won't honor my free line anymore. So, unfortunately I canceled the line and lost my number. I absolutely love T-Mobile, I have been with them for years and I work in an office of cinderblock and no windows, my colleagues always loss service, miss calls, miss messages. I have never experienced any of this with T-Mobile. T-Mobile also has amazing customer service! I wish that is where this email ended. ASSURANT!! Is the most unhelpful, rude, inexperienced, clueless group of people I have ever had to deal with! For those that do not know ASSURANT is the company T-Mobile and other providers deal with for replacing lost phones. If you have the 360 plan and lose your phone, God help you because nobody else will. Long story short. My GF lost her phone over the edge of a boat while on vacation, I immediately drove to my preferred T-Mobile store (GREAT PEOPLE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE). The manager of the store took the time to ensure we had the coverage, we did thank God, as it was an iPhone 15 max. He put my GF on the account as an authorized user and gave me the number for ASSURANT. Great!…. Then I called ASSURANT and was unable to speak to anyone because and I quote. "Reaching customer service may be difficult, we do this to protect our employees." Well, it was true it was impossible! My GF was able to reach an actual person, she told them what happened, they said no problem, she gave them a credit card for the 249.00 deductible, and then they said the phone would arrive the following day. Guess what. It didn't, we assumed that ok these things can take a while, so it came the next day right? Nope! She reached out again and they said oh you need to send the front and back of ID, upload it and you will have it tomorrow. Do you think that happened? Nope! I was finally able to get someone on the phone, and was told her ID did not work because she was an authorized user, it had to be the account holder, great! I uploaded my ID and while frustrated, at least it was rectified. Phone will be there tomorrow! Great! Except it wasn't. GF called again and they said they did not realize I had uploaded my ID. She leaves Florida tomorrow, I bet the phone will arrive in Florida the day after. The most frustrating about all this is NOBODY from Assurant reached out to either one of us at anytime. Not through email, and they never called me. I am guessing if they did call it was to the phone at the bottom of the ocean, although the GF gave them an alternate number. The question is why T-Mobile would tarnish their solid reputation aligning themselves with this AWFUL company? We switched from Verizon to T-Mobile on October 4, 2023 in Richmond, Indiana. The store did not have the iPhone that we wanted in stock. T-Mobile shipped the phone to my house and requested I ship my phone to their facility. I printed the tracking number that was provided by T-mobile and shipped my old phone to the facility. The tracking number indicates that the phone was received by their facility. T-Mobile has failed to credit my account thus voiding the promotion we signed up under and charging us over $800. I have tried to connect with Tmobile numerous times over the phone and in the store and no solution has ever been provided. T-Mobile fails to provide anything in writing indicating they will honor the promotion we signed up under and still showing an outstanding balance. TMobile sent my refund to my old address across the state and now refuses to send me the refund I never got. I have been getting my bills to the current address and they took my payment out of my checking account but they sent my refund by gift card to my old address and they refuse to make good on the refund I never got. For anyone requesting a replacement phone for a defective phone, you may want to consider opening a lost/stolen device claim instead of a defective replacement claim. Read your insurance documents to ensure this is true for you. They are provided on the Assurant claim site when filing a claim after entering your device details. For lost/stolen claims, you'll receive your replacement for the same deductible charged if you opened a defective device claim without the responsibility of returning the defective device back to Assurant. By responsibility, this means being responsible for any and all charges if the device does not make it back to Assurant. This charge for a non-returned item can be as much as half or more of thereturned device's cost if purchased brand new If you have a tier 6 device, this can end up being a surprise charge of $600 on your phone bill that you'll be responsible for paying as Tmobile or any phone carrier using Assurant for the services can do nothing about except shut off your services if you refuse to pay. So to make all those monthly insurancepayments worthwhile, do yourself a favor and never file a claim to replace a defective device. Hi I unfortunately had to file bankruptcy and t-mobile put me on a z list which means I have no control of my account to add lines or change anything. I never stiffed t-mobile a dime, I pay my bill monthly and have for years. I don't have any devices that I owe/owed on. The only reason they were listed on the bankruptcy is because it asks you to list the payments you will need to keep paying after the bankruptcy. If I had gotten some debt to tmobile discharged that would be understandable to be put on a list, but the fact I havenever not paid them its pretty dumb I can't control my account. Especially considering I couldn't file bankruptcy for another 8 yrs even if I wanted to go through that already terrible situation again. Why do they put people that are current on all charges and have been for 8 or more yrs on a list that whenever I try to change anything on MY account it says " invalid user role, please check with the primary account holder".
