This is on your FAQ page:The e-mail to text gateway is a legacy system that may eventually be decommissioned in the future. Can you please tell me if there are current plans to decommission this legacy gateway in2024? My company uses this to send critical pager messages for engineering. We are Not high-volume and we are Not running a campaign. We are open to a better route or way.
What is the capacity of email-to-sms gateway?
I am doing a project for a club that would like to implement email-to-sms messaging to send text messages at medium-volume to our members. I was wondering what could I expect the volume of messages that I send through a email-to-text gateway to be before I would see issues with deliverability? For example, would I expect 5 message per minute before messages would not deliver to users.
Email from mainframe host to my cell phone rejected
I am a mainframe systems programmer and I have it set up that when a certain message appears, that I get a text notification. No pictures or anything fancy. Just text. Here's the error message: tmo-ibgw-6002a.ext.cloudfilter.net gave this error: <tina.kruse@kyndryl.com> sender rejected AUP#SNDR Remote Server returned '552 5.2.0 <tina.kruse@kyndryl.com> sender rejected AUP#SNDR' This has worked in the past and successfully received messages for a long time.
@tmomail.net not working
I've been sending to a plain/textemail to my SMS via number@tmomail.neteveryday for years, and it has stopped working the last couple of weeks. My email server replies with this: The following address failed: ###########@tmomail.net: multiple delivery attempts failed A few messages have gone through, but most of them fail. I've tried sending from different email accounts and they all fail. Seems like Tmobile's server is down. Are there any workarounds?
Email to text not working via gmail.
Have a PLC that sends alerts/alarms out via email. There are 10 people on the group message, 8 of whom are on other carriers - all received the email/text, but not to tmomail.net. Only two of us are on Tmobile and we are the only two who didn't receive the alert: There was a temporary problem delivering your message to **********@tmomail.net. Gmail will retry for 25 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently. The response from the remote server was: 452 4.1.0 <**********@gmail.com> server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRTFailed emailed SMS (?RCS) message
An emailed SMS (?RCS) message that I'd sent to myself at ...@tomail.net bounced back to me w/the error message, "The response was:DNS Error: DNS type 'mx' lookup of tomail.net responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of localhost. responded with code NXDOMAIN DNS type 'a' lookup of localhost. responded with code NXDOMAIN". The following address failed: phoneline@tmomail.net: multiple delivery attempts failed I can send an email from my personal @gmail.com to phoneline@tmomail.netbut cannot send mail from an @specific domain. This domain is NOT on any email black lists and can send to other email addresses just fine,in fact, TMobile can SEND messsages TO this @specific domain I just cannotreceive. I've tried blank messages, test messages, messages with attachments etc... I found when trying to forward the blocked message to a t-mobile.com tech support email it was also blocked on their internal domains. This has been going on for over a month. I've called into tech support many times over the past month.I can only restart my phone or clear cache so many times. I'm pulling my hair out trying to explain the TMOBILE E-Mail server is blocking my messages, not my phone or appHow to use @tmomail.net via gmail? I'm trying to get SMS to Email to work so that I can get text messages for specific emails. I have successfully sent an email to myself through the SMS service and I can plainly see my +1XXXYYYZZZZ@tmomail.netaddress as the sender. When I reply to that email, I do not receive a text message. Can anyone help with this?@tmomail.net & forwarding via Gmail
Hi - I'm trying to forward email (via filter rules) from Gmail to @tmomail.net. I can forward it manually from my Gmail account with no problem, but if I try the rules, it ultimately times out and I get a mail "Mail Delivery Subsystem" message back saying: *** The response from the remote server was: *** 421 4.2.0 <forwarding-noreply@google.com> server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRT Note: I'm actually a customer via Mint Mobile, in case that makes a difference.
