tower maintenance
4 TopicsTerrible signal for the last several days
For several days in the Columbia SC area our internet has been almost 0. We've been customers on the 5G gateway service for 2 years and the signal fluctuates terribly. We really want to give it some more chances but, geeze, how much longer do I wait to go back to more reliable cable!? Get this fixed T-Mobile!31Visto1like0ComentariosWeak Signal despite TMO map of 5G
Seeing no place on T-Mobile website to convey this concern (other than a phone number) I'm taking to this forum. We were with Sprint for +/-20years and had a great signal at our house. Soon as it switched over to T-Mobile I'm having apps not working and a weak signal often of just one bar. T-Mobile coverage map shows us in the dark majenta for 5G but that's not happening on my iPhone13Pro (the newest at this time). Would prefer to not switch to AT&T but you may be forcing me to as they have a better signal.533Visto0likes9ComentariosHow long will the tower “maintenance” take?
I'm on day 37 of a supposed tower maintenance. I was originally told it would be completed in 2-72 hours, then up to a month, then 4-5 weeks, then 30 - 60 days, and the last time I was told they have no idea what I'm talking about because they don't show any maintenance was made to the tower. This rep basically told me my coverage was terrible, not to expect it to get any better, and that I should consider changing service providers. Seriously???!!! It I am beyond frustrated with T-Mobile. Every time I call them I'm told something completely different. My mi-fi coverage was fine until 5/10/2023 and then it became almost unusable (1.80 Mbps). It has finally improved within the past week but now it drops several times a day. I'm having to drive into work (an hour away) because I can't trust the coverage to support my work VPN. Sadly, they are the only option we have in my area so I can't cancel my coverage with them. How can they think this is acceptable service???Solved1.5KViews1like7ComentariosBars decrease in the same location as the day goes by, only in one location, eventually no data.
At the beginning of my day at my office, my S22 Ultra (same exact problem with previous phone, S21 Ultra) has 5GUC and has blazing fast speeds with four bars. This is at my desk. My desk does not move. My building is not mobile. As the day goes on, the "UC" from "5GUC" drops. Bars start dropping. Eventually I only have one bar and sometimes only 4G. The data speeds drop from blazing fast to no data connectivity. This issue does not seem to affect voice calls. This issue happens daily, and is consistent across two different phone models and multiple devices. I have spoken with customer support and they stated that there was some modernization being performed on the tower that I connect with in this location. That was several weeks ago. At some point the support tech made some unspecified change, remotely to my phone and the bars increased and the "5G UC" returned to my phone and so did the blazing fast speeds. That only lasted for a few hours and the issues returned. I don't have time to sit on the phone with customer service all day because I'm at work. Does anyone have any advice?283Visto0likes2Comentarios
