I have taken a screenshot before submitting the order . It shows that the iPhone 6 and 7 plustrade value is $829.99. On Next day , i received the email from T-Mobile with order confirmation that total Promotional value is : one time credit : $280 Recurring Promotional value : 2209.98 Total Promotional value :2489.98. Now i received new devices and ported numbers also. When login into account Trade value for iPhone 6 and 7 plus is $415. I reached customercare over the chat and on the phone multiple times. When i reached support over the chat i am able send order confirmation details and they verified telling that wait 2 to 3 days it will be corrected. But the issue was not resolved. When I reached support over the phone ( call 611) ,they told me I misunderstood the issue. So I visited the store and showed email order confirmation to the store guy and called customer care. Store guy explained to the customer agent that the Promotion value for iPhone 6 and 7 plus is $829.99 also. After explaining to the store guy suddenly disconnected the call. Can you please escalate or resolve the problem. I have order confirmation from T-Mobile and I have a screenshot before submitting the order also.54Visto0likes1ComentarioWill T-mobile accept a phone for trade-in with a cracked back glass?
My wife and I are trying to take advantage of the promotional phone trade-in offer to upgrade our paid off phones to a newer phone. One of the phones has a cracked back glass, a Samsung Note 10+. The crack has the spider web lines spread throughout the entire back of the phone. The rest of the phone works as normal with nothing disqualifying the phone for trade-in; according to their guidelines listed on this page by T-Mobile:https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/device-troubleshooting/check-the-condition-of-a-device#heading1 No LCD or Screen damage No Liquid damage The device turns on Find my IPhone andanti-theft disabled- Will Factory Reset. There is no guidance on whether or not back glass damage is a disqualifier for trade-in or a reason to value the phone for less. The trade-in value for theNote 10+ 5G is $68.00, with the promotional trade-in offer for a S23 phone is $500.00 via monthly credits. I've gone through multiple threads from the previous years; with a 50/50 split of people with the same issue, are getting the full promotional offer and others getting disqualified or a reduced promotional offer. At the end of the day we you can't get past the contract that binds you from sending the new device back and get your old device from T-Mobile. The ball is in their court, they decide whether you get a full/partial/no valuation for your trade-in phone. While you get stuck with whatever they offer you. Hopefully this document gets updated soon so current and future customers feel more confident about trading in their phones.30KViews0likes2ComentariosT-mobile lost my trade in, warehouse never scam my device. They refused to do anything
We sent in 4 device for trade-in. All device were shown received by warehouse. 3 device got scanned in and credit it. 1 device never got scan and T-mobile refused to do anything. They keep calling and asking for help because they couldn't find my device. Their respond was that our warehouse didn't scan your device, there is nothing that can be done if we did not scan your device. They won't allow this to escalate or lost or stolen device. My tracking shows clearly it was delivered the same way my other 3 device were trade-in. They do not suggest it was lost or stolen because they claim they have the safety security camera in place. I have been dealing with them for over 3 months now and they just wouldn't have an answer for me. I see so many post about this same issue but yet their respond was " we do not lose device when it gets sent to our warehouse". I find it unreal that there is no check and balance system. Share your experience with me because I have seen many others and lately is getting worst.1.8KViews3likes17ComentariosTrade-in rejected - PSA
I learned something today that I thought might help others.… A couple months back, my two daughters traded their phones in for iPhone 13's. We did this order online. They each mailed their phones in as directed. One was good, the other was rejected. It took about 2 hours on the phone, but the repended up giving me the trade-in rebate. I mean...at that point the phone is gone. Seems a little helpless, but it worked out. Fast forward to the iPhone 14…I ordered 2 phones on the first day and they came today. I setup the new phones and decided to take them in to the store instead of mailing them (it has to be a REAL t-mobile store). She told me the devices doesn't match and I couldn't do the trade-in. Something didn't add up and I refused to just walk out. So here's the deal.… The phone I was trading in was an iPhone 12 Pro Max. This phone supports 2 SIM's. The physical SIM card is labeled IMEI and the eSIM is IMEI2. Here's the key - my t-mobile service was using the eSIM on this phone…..so the number that registered with the t-mobile network was IMEI2. However, the rep at the store (and they do the same thing when you mail in the phones) is just checking the IMEI. So it's true...t-mobile had the IMEI2 store on their network and the rep was checking the other value - no match. Thinking back, it makes sense with what happened on the iPhone 13's. One daughter was using a physical SIM and her phone trade-indidn't have any issues. The phone that was using the eSIM is the one that was rejected. T-Mobile needs to train their staff to check both IMEI numbers from the phone! They will continue to reject trade-in's for this reason. These folks were clueless...to them, it simply didn't match so they were like 'please leave our store'. I had to figure this out on my own. Part of the reason this is hard for them is because when you bring the phone in, it should be reset. When you have a factory reset phone, you can hit the information button on the screen when you first power it on and it will tell you some basic information about the one. One of the details is the IMEI. BUT…..it only list the one IMEI, not both. This is what they are using to validate your trade-in. In order to see the other IMEI you have to go through the setup and get to the iPhone Settings →General →About. This is where you see both IMEI numbers.2.5KViews0likes6ComentariosTrade-in valuation not fully paid by TMobile
I was given a valuation for my Z Fold3 for $500 and I accepted. So I traded for the Z Fold4, sent in my old one, and that's it - it should all be done and setup. They only gave me $385 credit on my bill and didn't give me the full $500. When I was texting with their support through theirchat, she led me to believe that the rest of it would be credited on the next billing cycle. Can anyone confirm that this is true?Solved820Visto0likes2ComentariosCracked Back Glass 2021 Trade-In
It looks like most of the "crack back glass" trade in questions are not new, so I wanted to see if there was any updatedguidance on whether T-Mobile will accept a phone that has cracked/shattered back glass, but is otherwise in perfect condition (i.e. screen free of damage, no water damage, works perfectly fine, etc.) Has anyone recently run into any problems trading in a phone with cracked/shattered back glass? I don't think it matters in this discussion, but my phone is an iPhone XS Max. Can't seem to find a straight answer from anyone.2.9KViews0likes2ComentariosValue of trade-in iphone XR 128GB with cracked back glass
Hi I went to t-mobile store to switch our 3 phone lines from ATT. One of the phones we want to trade in is fine except for cracked back glass. When I check online with the tool, It does not ask about cracked back glass. - But when I asked the person in the store, he said he could not guarantee it will be credited and that tmobile takes the phone and will not return it, and they may give me less for the back glass crack. Like only $200 or something!! My situation is that we have had a (terrible expensive) plan with assurion (costs us about $50/month) for the last 3 years since we have upgraded any phones - one claim in 3 years…- I can put in a claim with them to get the back glass repaired, but even with our "insurance" it will cost $200!! I have now been on hold with t-mobile for an hour to try to get an answer from them… The rep keeps checking back every 15 minutes. This should be a simple question to answer. With this kind of lack of service, I'm wondering if I should forget T-mobile and just switch to Verizon? Its a simple question, IF I HAVE AN IPHONE XR 128 WITH ONLY DAMAGE BEING CRACKED BACK GLASS WHAT IS THE CURRENT PROMOTIONAL TRADE-IN VALUE?2.4KViews0likes2ComentariosTrade-in question
We switch to T-Mobile yesterday. One of our phones has a cracked back but there is NO water damage and the phone works perfectly well. We were told in the store thisphone would be accepted as a trade-in for anew phonebecause, and I quote, "that is T-Mobile's policy". So we all got the Apple IPhone 12 promotion ($830 off over 24 months with a trade-in) except for one of our lines - he got the SE so 100% off over 24 months with NO trade-in so we just traded his in for a bill credit. Apparently we should not have done this because…... We weretold sincewe were sending her phone directly to her at college, it would be easier to just order it ourselves. So, last night, I was chatting with someone onlinehaving her place my order, very nice lady named Bea. But she told me wecould not trade in the phone because of the crack - therefore not getting the same Apple iPhone 12 promotion. So now basically, we are out quite a bit of money. Were we told incorrect info in the store? Was I told incorrect info in the chat about it not being accepted? Is there anything I can do now??? I haven't placed the order yet...Solved2.2KViews0likes1Comentario
