I got the iPhone 12 pro Max and traded in my iPhone X for the $830 promo. I mailed my device on November 24th, walked into the post office and got a receipt for proof I dropped it off.I got the return label directly from a T-mobile store since I couldn't print it at home. I kept the customer copy as well. It's being shipped to Assurant in Texas but my tracking number hasn't been updated since December 2nd. It was supposed to arrive Nov. 30th but got pushed back due to holidays I'm assuming. It needs to be returned by December 20th so now I'm getting paranoid. I'm calling them tomorrow and asking if it would still be honored even if the package got lost. It's not my fault since I did everything correctly. Also all the links on the T-mobile website and app are useless! They just take me to the log in and that's it. So frustrating! I wouldn't have switched over if I knew they're this unorganized. anyone have any similar experiences? I can't open a claim with the USPS since I don't know the exact address it's getting shipped to. My fault for not taking a picture of the label. I just know it's the Assurant in Lewisville, TX 75057.Solved8.5KViews2likes16ComentariosTmobile lost my trade in and is not honoring trade credit. What can I do?
I shipped the trade in to T-Mobile, the tracking says it was delivered. I called them to ask about my trade in credit and they said they never received the phone. I provided them the tracking number and the email saying how much my trade in was approved for. They are now only offering me $80 from what was supposed to be $380. What are my options here? I've been a T-Mobile customer for a very long time with 6 lines and multiple new phones on payment plans.4.3KViews3likes17Comentariostraded in phone missing - Tmobile doesn't provided device recovery credit after THEY LOST the device
This is getting extremely frustrating. I upgraded all of my 4 phone lines to new iphones back in December 2021. For each phone I traded in an older iphone for which I was supposed to get a device recovery credit. However, for one of the phones I have still not received the promised credit of $130 after 4+ months. All phones were mailed to "Assurant" using the provided labels. The were all received there according to tracking. And for 3 phones they were "assessed" and the credit was applied to my account the same day they received it. Just this one phone shows "received" in T-Mobile's order history but does not show "assessed". Over the past few months I have spent numerous hours on the phone and in online chat to resolve this. Every time I have to explain this again to a different person who then usually tries to convince me that I already got the credit because they see the credits for the other phones. 2 weeks ago I was finally able to get them to open an inquiry just to get a call today being told they cannot help me and I should contact Assurant. What? I gave that a try too but of courseAssurant says this is handled by TMobile LOL What a joke.1.1KViews0likes2ComentariosCan't return trade-in device at any T-Mobile store - system shows error
I got switched to T-Mobile with three lines and home internet.I upgraded two phones by trading in existing devices. I did it in-store at Transit, Depew. The staff was accommodating. One of the trade-ins was done without any issues. They gave me the new phone and kept the old one. For the second line, they did not have iPhone 14 Max Pro. So, they ordered it and asked me to go in once I received the device as it was shipped to my home. They call it deferred trade-in. I got the new iPhone 14 Max Pro on Tuesday (Oct 24th). I went to the same store right away. They set up the new phone and tried to trade in the old phone (iPhone 11). However, once they input all the information, the system throws an error. So, they tried doing that on a new tablet and got the same error. They told me to go back another day. So I went back the next day (Oct 25th). They still couldn't go past that error. So, they told me that I could try another store or come back later. They said sometimes it takes 2-3 business days for the system to reset. I called up 611 before going to the store, and the agent said my account was fine and I should be able to return the old device. Anyway, I decided to try a different store on Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, the next day (Oct 26th). They received the same error and asked me to go back later. I called 611 again today (Oct 27th), and they said the system should be okay and I should be able to return the phone. So, I went back to the store onNiagara Falls Blvd, Amherst. They received the same error again and asked me to go back later. Has anyone faced a similar problem? The thing is, I know I can return the old phone through USPS, but T-Mobile mentions Assurant/T-Mobile will not be responsible if the phone is lost or damaged! A few people I know faced significant challenges returning devices through Assurant. I wasplanning to upgrade the 3rd line, but the above experience is stopping me from doing that. Would anyone be able to give me a way forward? I feel ifI can't return the old phone at the T-Mobile store, the company should be responsible for shipping. Any suggestions?859Visto0likes1ComentarioT-mobile lost my trade in, warehouse never scam my device. They refused to do anything
We sent in 4 device for trade-in. All device were shown received by warehouse. 3 device got scanned in and credit it. 1 device never got scan and T-mobile refused to do anything. They keep calling and asking for help because they couldn't find my device. Their respond was that our warehouse didn't scan your device, there is nothing that can be done if we did not scan your device. They won't allow this to escalate or lost or stolen device. My tracking shows clearly it was delivered the same way my other 3 device were trade-in. They do not suggest it was lost or stolen because they claim they have the safety security camera in place. I have been dealing with them for over 3 months now and they just wouldn't have an answer for me. I see so many post about this same issue but yet their respond was " we do not lose device when it gets sent to our warehouse". I find it unreal that there is no check and balance system. Share your experience with me because I have seen many others and lately is getting worst.1.8KViews3likes17ComentariosTrade-In Fiasco
So very frustrating. Trying to downgrade my Galaxy Z Fold 4 that is not a year old to a A54, but can't get them to send me the return label. They processed the order as an upgrade instead of trade-in and now they want me to send my new phone back to them to start the process all over again so it follows the correct process! I have been a customer over 10 years, but am now considering changing. I have called and spoke to more than 6 people and I was assured this will be resolved, but I have still not received the return label. The process is broken and staff have no clue how to resolve if it doesn't all in the process.29Visto0likes0ComentariosT-mobile lost my trade in
November 3rd my husband took my daughters trade in phone to a t-mobile store in Arizona. They cannot locate the phone and will not give me credit for it. He was told that it was completed and we should see it on our next bill. Unfortunately I do not have record of the transaction. I have been getting nowhere with people in the support department. I was shocked to see that this happens all the time with this company! For as large a business you would think theircustomer service would be better.Any suggestions?102Visto0likes1Comentarioiphone 11 trade in
I was told at T Mobile that I could receive $800 for my iPhone 11 which would go towards my bill for the iphone 13 pro max. The bill is originally $36 for 30 months before the credit. They printed the labels & told me that I needed to send it in. When I get home I see that the label said customer accepted value$180. Which is very untrue. No price other than $800 was discussed if I knew it was only worth $180 I wouldn't of accepted the phone.Did this happen to you? If so were you able to return whatever phone you accepted & get out of contract? Or complain & get more than what was on your label.12KViews1like6ComentariosT-MOBILE LOST MY TRADE IN
I pre-ordered the 14 pro and received it in September, so I shipped back my old phone to receive the credit for it. Tracking shows it was delivered on the 28th of September, but I kept getting texts that I needed to ship my phone in, and that was weird, considering they had already gotten it, right? So I contacted customer support not once but TWICE in October, and both reps assured me that my phone was received and that I'dreceive my credit on next months bill (November). I got my bill for November, and the old phone is STILL on there...so again, I contacted customer support, and they said they'd escalate it and figure out what was going on. Today (November 11th) I received an email saying they couldn't locate my phone in their warehouse…. I am highly considering changing carriers because this is absolutely unprofessional. How does a company this large manage to lose people's phones constantly?? And no, I don't have the issue resolved yet, so if anyone has advice, please send it my way.247Visto0likes2Comentarios
