Traded in my Daughter's iPhone 12 mini in near perfect condition (I know because I'm the one that transferred her data over to her new phone, wiped down her old phone, left it in its case, and then packed and shipped it myself) only for them to claim they received the phone damaged. In the pictures they provided her case isn't on the phone anymore and the phone has fingerprints and grime all over the screen. Like I said before, I cleaned the entire phone before packing. It was clean all around, not a fingerprint on it. So now, instead of the $999 credit, they're offering me $43. What a complete scam!! Something is not adding up.19Visto0likes0ComentariosHow to extend the deadline to turn in the old phone after upgrade
Hello - I requested a new iphone as an upgrade for my daughter currently in college away from home. The phone arrived in 9/19/2024 in my place. I plan to visit her by end of October, and give her the new phone, activate at that time and then turn in the old phone. However, I received a message reminding me to turn in the old phone by 10/17. Otherwise will lose the trade-in value. I booked my train ticket on 10/30 already and want to keep that timeline. I called Tmobil for help but was told the trade-in deadline isbuilt in the system and they can't change it. All I want is to have the trade-in date extended by 2 weeks. The new phone is not even activated yet as my daughter is still usingher old phone currently. Anyone has some idea how to solve the issue?all advice will be appreciated. Thanks a lot Iphone dad77Visto0likes1ComentarioWarped Camera Eligible for Trade In?
I got my cracked screen fixed but the crack was over the camera and apparently the heat from the process warped the front camera, so it is blurry and doesn't focus. I couldn't get it fixed there because I was away from home on vacation and needed to go back. Getting the camera fixed is way more expensive than is worth it. Will my device be eligible for trade in for an upgrade? The policy only really talks about the battery and screen which are both fine.48Visto0likes1ComentarioTrade In Offer Question
Hello, I upgraded to the Galaxy S24 and it said I qualified for $500 off with a S9 trade in. I purchased through Samsung using the Tmobile financing. I got an email from T-mobile saying that I am going to receive $15 for it and a link on how to send it in. Is there a way to confirm that I got the $500 promo? I usually just purchase unlocked, so I am not familiar with the process. Thank you for the help.Solved995Visto1like6ComentariosSamsung Trade in through T-Mobile gone wrong
I pre-ordered a Samsung S 24 Ultra through Samsung website, but ordered the T-Mobile one through a promotion they were running with Samsung. I traded in my unlocked S22 Ultra purchased through Samsung 2 years prior. T-Mobile sent me shipping label, i returned the phone through UPS. Tracking showed TMO GRC received my phone on February 13th. February 16th i received text from 456 Tmobile saying they received my trade in device and are processing. I received the first bill credit. Now to this month. I lost my bill credit. Tmobile says they didnt receive my phone. I showed them documentation where the phone was sent through UPS and their label, delivered by UPS and received by Tmobile. Theyre claiming they do not have it in their warehouse and are not giving me the credits. Then came back and said no promises, but they will escalate the issue. No promises? T-Mobile is jacking me for $1000. I have been a loyal customer since 2009. This is very disheartening. I am not sure what else i can do?144Visto0likes0ComentariosWebsite is not accepting Trade-in Devices with a Zero Dollar Fair-Market Value (Self-Service) or Crediting the DCC Charge
I wanted to take advantage of the Smartphone Trade 240039 P669 online via self-service. Also because it was waiving the activiation cost. I tried over 10 devices, and 4 different device upgrade workflows and none would work on any promotion if the trade-in device has a $0 fair-market value. The process issuccessful if the device you are trading in, has a trade-in fair-market value of $5 or greater, which is the lowest I have seen it. I know it is a bug because this didn't used to be an issue in the past(trading in any device, even if the trade-in value was $0). This increases customer contact(unecessiarily). Instigates a store visit to complete the upgrade which subjects the customer to cramming and other liabilites associated with in-store transactions. While I have you, why can't business customers ship to store/store pick-up like consumer accounts? Improve self-service: Provide us the option to add a "down payment" towards any amount we want to finance on EIP. Why stores are only allowed to do this annoying. Why stores are ony allowedto apply the fair-market value of your trade-in towards your EIP finance amount is another pain point. I don't want some random dollar amount or change on my bill if I can control what I Am financing or paying the better, I hate random weird bill amounts. For example, the device is $168, they will give you a $5 "bill credit" well 168/7 is 24 months; 163/24 is an ugly number and just stupid - just put the $5 towards the EIP or just keep the $5 and make it a simple even number - at least give us this flexibility if we are that detailed about or finances and billing. I really don't understand why it seems like they are against self-service, yet complain about customer contact and hold Agents to unreasonable NCI/NPI or whatever the 'metric' is.227Visto1like4ComentariosDeclining the trade in option
Hi so I'm getting a new phone and I declined the offer of tradein And getting a $1000 credit And decided to just keep my old phone And still get the new one The only reason why I decided to keep my older one even though I'm not going to be using it anymore is because it was a note 20 Ultra and they don't make notes anymore But now I'm questioning if I made the right decision And should I have just did the trade inoption And get my new phone plus The a $1000 credit Also what kind of credit is it? Also Can I change my mind and go with the trade in option after already declining itAnd have already ordered my new phone?81Visto0likes0ComentariosTrade in received email indicates a different device, not mine
Hello, I received an email stating that my trade in of a Samsung Galaxy S10+ "128GB Black" had been received. The phone I was trading in was a 512GB White CeramicSamsung Galaxy S10+. Obviously the value will be completely different! It seems like I need to get in touch with someone who is processing whatever phone they think is mine so they can look for the proper phone. Any suggestions? Thanks21Visto0likes0ComentariosUpgrade on a trade-in using Go5G Next promo - "Get one on us with trade on Go5G Next"
I currently have an iPhone 13 that I got through T-Mobile when I switched from AT&T well over a year ago. According to my account, I owe $193.33 on this device. My account says I am eligible for an upgrade, so I am trying to upgrade to an iPhone 15. For context, I recently switched my plan from Magenta MAX to Go5G Next. T-Mobile is running a promotion that says, "Get one ON US with trade on Go5G Next". To be eligible for this promotion: (1) "Purchase an eligible iPhone 15, iPhone 14 or iPhone SE (3rd Gen) series on a monthly payment plan and pay the applicable sales tax on the pre-credit price at time of purchase." (2) "Have or add a new line of service to a Go5G Next rate plan." and (3) "Trade in an eligible device in good condition." I am eligible based on these conditions. However, when I go to trade it in and redeem the upgrade, it says that in addition to the taxes, I must pay the remaining balance on my current device that I am trying to trade in. So my question is…if I am sending the device back to T-Mobile in good condition, why am I required to pay the remaining balance before I am eligible for the upgrade? Regardless of the credits that are added to my bill later on for the trade-in value (which comes out to just about the amount I would be paying on the remaining balance), it doesn't feel like I'm "getting one on us" if I am paying almost $300 before being eligible for an upgrade.388Visto1like0ComentariosEIP Return
I got an iPhone 14 Pro Max a few months ago on EIP. It was supposed to be jump on demand but for some reason it's just a regular installment. Idk how that happened because I was on the phone with an employee who must have done it wrong? Never had that problem before. Anyway, I'm switching all of my stuff to android, so I'd like to switch phone obviously. I've been told I can't return the phone to cease payments, but since someone internally messed up how the device was purchased, I can't even trade it in to switch. Has anyone had this issue and/or does anyone know how to fix it? I don't want to pay the $800 something I have left for a phone I'm not going to use just because someone internally messed up the process.67Visto0likes0Comentarios
