Hello, long story short T-Mobile is not unlocking my phone and not giving me a proper reason about it for over 2 weeks. After more than 10 calls and talked to around 20 people on the customer service side, they are not unlocking the phone. I know that's basically violating the law. But wanted to ask first if there is anything I can do with T-Mobile before involving lawyers.11KViews4likes35ComentariosSim locked but t mobile says fully unlocked
I bought Iphone 14 pro in September and I moved to Indonesia. So I fully paid for my phone before I came here and when I was paying for the device, t mobile expert said that it has been fully unlocked. On my setting, it still says SIM Locked and it is not working here. I called T mobile more than 10 times, they say that it's been fully unlocked but my phone says it is still locked! I even tried to scan a new esim on the phone it says I need to contact the original carrier to unlock the phone. Every time I called all they say is the device is fully unlocked. I was even connected to Apple experts but they could not help me with anything. Apple suggested me to reset the phone, which I have tried. Now I don't know what to do. It's been more than two weeks and I'm not able to use this phone that I've paid $1000 for. Please help!!!Solved9.9KViews1like28Comentariosi need to unlock a cell locked by t-mobile

Is it possible to unlockthe second sim on an iPhone 14? I am looking for a second phone number with no data and T-Mobile doesn't offer a resonableplan. DIGITS won't work because I have no data service in my area. I understand the phone needs to be paid off but it doesn't make sense to pay the phone off if they are going to continuously do a promotion to keep you in a contract. I'll likely never pay a phone off while on T-Mobile so it sounds like I'd never be able to use the second sim with another provider or if I travel and want to pick up a sim. Any way to at least unlock the second sim?Solved5.8KViews0likes9ComentariosDevice Unlock Problem! Reason Code: 19
Here comes the vent. about a month ago I canceled my T-Mobile account which had me and my ex-girlfriend on it I wanted to switch to Mint mobile my girlfriend stayed with T-Mobile but they made her get a new account since I was the account holder. I was told that once I pay off my phone and my ex girlfriend gets her new account then my phone would be unlocked and I would be able to take it to Mint mobile. I found out after I had already canceled my account and paid off the phone that the phone would not unlock. since I don't have an account anymore it is very hard to get verified with anyone from T-Mobile I've had to be in a T-Mobile store while talking to a T-Mobile representative on the phone so that the person in the T-Mobile store could verify that I was me and so that the person on the phone could submit a unlock request which I have done three different times!!!! this issue has been escalated three different times also. the device is a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and the reason code is 19 when I try to permanently unlock it on the device. T-Mobile has no answers when I'm able to get through to them but that's only if I'm at a store and talking to a rep on the phone at the same time. the device is a replacement device from Assurant which is another route that I explored for a possible problem but was assured that the IMEI should be in T-Mobile's database even though it's a replacement device. I'm running out of options I don't know what else to do I have $1,000 phone that I'm not able to use to make phone calls or use cell towers and it's so frustrating oh and I also just recently received my final bill in the mail from T-Mobile which is a negative! -$47 balance so now I'm wondering since it's not a zero balance and since T-Mobile owes me money could that be the reason that my locked. Does anyone who has read this far have any suggestions or reasons why my phone is locked? I'll be filing an FCC complaint next because they restricting me from using the device that I legally bought from them. I doubt it causes any progress but maybe someone will see it and care enough to tighten the leash on big companies like T-Mobile.Solved5.5KViews2likes9ComentariosThe T-Mobile unlock lie
Here is my story as of 8/15/23: I'm a T-Mobile prepaid customer for several years and was happy with the company so far. I lost my phone on 7/15/23 (ouch) and bought a new Motorola razr+ from T-Mobile on 7/16/23 for $999. Since I knew that I will be abroad for several months, it was important to me that I can also use the phone with a non T-Mobile operator. Thus at the shop the salesperson and me carefully read T-Mobile's "Unlock your mobile device" page (https://www.t-mobile.com/responsibility/consumer-info/policies/sim-unlock-policy). It says: If the devicewas activated less than 365 days ago, then thePrepaid account associated with the device must have had more than $100 in refills during that period for each line active on the account. Además, deben haber pasado más de 14 días desde que se compró el dispositivo. I refilled my account with two payments ($100 and $20), left the US on 28/7/23 and expected to unlock my device 14 days after purchase. Which didn't work. After hours with T-Mobile customer care, my understanding is that the "We're committed to providing you with clear information about unlocking your mobile device." (cited from the aforementioned web page) is not clear enough for the teamwho implemented the unlocking system. As far as I can tell, unlocking is based on days active on the network and has nothing to do with the date of purchase of the device whatsoever. Hence the last sentence should read as "In addition, the device must be active for more than 14 days on the T-Mobile network" instead of "In addition, more than 14 days must have passed since the device was purchased." "Purchased" vs. "activated" - why does it matter you may ask? Well, it does in my case. I'm abroad (not on the T-Mobile network) and won't return to the US for several months. I can't unlock my $999 phone and most likely must buy a second phone to use here. Needless to say that I wouldn't have bought the phone in the first place if T-Mobile would have been honest about their unlocking policy. Thank you, T-Mobile for lying to me and all the time, material and money wasted.4.1KViews1like22ComentariosDelete My T-mobile ID Account

Sprint says the phone has been unlocked but the phone refuses to unlock. When I try it says "SIM unlocking could not be completed. Intenta nuevamente más tarde. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Servicge. Error: Internalr Error (407)" I bought this phone about a month ago, it was supposedto be unlocked three days afthecr I bought it, but theproblem has persisted. I got screenshot of the note from the seller that the unlock was complete. I've tried putting in two different Boost Mobile cards (my carrier), but with the same problem. It won't even try to unlock without a SIM in it. I've tried resetting it with the dialer code (##72786#) with no effect. The seller has now become very nasty and is not willing to help me any longer. Boost Mobile has been no help and Sprint won't talk to me because I don't have an account. I'm just noat sure what else I can do. Any suggestions?2.3KViews0likes3Comentarios
