So I've been having this issue where I can't receive verification codes via text from sites like Amazon and Discover but I receive them phone from others. Is this a problem on tmobiles side? I've been talking with Amazon customer service to fix the problem considering I can't use many of the smart home device features but it hasn't gotten anywhere... -_-Solved225KViews3likes12ComentariosLocked out of account and support is unable to help?
My personal phone died about 2 weeks ago - it won't even power up anymore. I've been using my business phone as a backup while I looked at new phone options. Tonight I decided to just buy a new phone, but could not log into my t-mobile account. I tried resetting my password but got a screen telling me I'd have to enter a verification code (via text) or answer my security questions. Knowing I couldn't receive the text, I tried my security questions, but having set them 8 years ago when I opened my account, I didn't have the answers. So... I called support... but support COULD NOT reset my password, send me a temporary password, reset my security questions, or send me the verification code that can be sent via text. Basically, the call was a waste of time. Has anyone else experienced this? I want to be able to access my account and being unable to without having to go to a store is frustrating. After 8 years as a T-mobile customer, issues like this are driving me toward dropping T-mobile as my carrier and going with another provider.Solved3.4KViews0likes7ComentariosNot receiving authentication/verification code from SSA Benefits website.
Hi all! Over the past weeks I have not been receiving various codes that a website will send in order to authenticate your login. Specifically the SSA Benefits website. Has anyone else has this issue, what did you do to resolve it? I am trying to avoid having to get a code mailed which takes days. Is this a TMobile issue?2.9KViews1like13ComentariosUnable to get Verification Texts
Many apps require sending a verification text for two-factor authentication. After moving to a new phone, I am no longer receiving these for many apps. T-mobiles 2 factor code comes through, but FanDuel and Robinhood for example, no longer do.1.3KViews0likes3ComentariosShort Code Verification Texts
I learned today that T Mobile only allows one phone on an account to receive short code verification texts. My wife and I are on a family plan with my son. All of us work so this is quite inconvenient. Do other carriers limit access to short code verification texts? We would like to switch to another carrier. Otherwise, we will each have to get our own plan and our expense will increase. ¡Gracias!627Visto0likes4Comentarios- 625Visto0likes3Comentarios
Not receiving verification texts from few banks after switching to T-Mobile
I just switched to T-Mobile from AT&T few weeks ago. And, now I am not getting the account verification code from AMEX bank to my phone number. The code comes from the number 48267. 48267 was working fine just a few weeks ago when I was with AT&T. However, 48267 is not working now. (Few other bank account verification codes are working OK. The problem seems to be with this number 48267 for now.) Sent "Help" to 48267 many times without getting a reply. I see similar issues with T-Mobile customers in different forums. Could someone please help me to solve this issue?500Visto0likes4ComentariosDIGITS doesn't support short codes for verification texts?
If this is true then this is absolutely preposterous and needs to be fixed ASAP. When I signed up for a DIGITS number, I was told that it could be used exactly the same way 100% as my primary number on my phone. If short code verification text messages cannot be received on my DIGITS number, then I was entirely lied to.199Visto0likes3Comentarios
