21 TopicsCannot Change Voice Mail Greeting
The no answer greeting fails to update. The T-Mobile process to effect a greeting change seems to work, but actually fails to work. This happened earlier this year and took 4 weeks to fix. Well, temporarily fix. The issue is back, like Chucky. Happens with 2 phones, both iPhones, Pro 14, latest IOS upgrade. T- Mobile technical support kept trying, failing and elevating to a "next" level of tech support. Finally, arrived at what was called "Level 4" tech support. The blame game on iPhone was bogus, never an IOS issue. Was fixed and good for last 2 months. Now, problem is back. How do I go directly to Level 4 tech support to work problem again?28Visto0likes0Comentariosvisual voicemail no longer shows my messages transcribed inside the app itself.
So I have been trying to figure this one out, i have call in multiple times to where eventually I gave up. I think that the voicemail to text feature is getting mixed up with the voicemails being transcribed in the actual vvm app. I paid for the feature and was still not getting the messages transcribed in the app but would receive the sms text with the transcription in my messages. Before when it was working correctly i had no vm to text subscription or feature on my account and my voicemails would show the option to play back in the vvm app as well asthe transcription of the message right below the play icon. I believe the problem lies in the app software because oddly enough i was able to clear app cache and data then uninstalled reinstalled the app and when the app loaded back up and i set it up againi tested it immediately and the vm Didshow with the transcription in the vvm app but sadly reverted right back on the very next vm that i received only allowing the play back to listen to message with no transcription showing inside my vvm app. for example in the images i pulled up on google shows the messages transcribed there inside the app. This is what I'm wanting my vvm app to display giving me the option to view, play, delete, save, ect.all in one app, not have to check the transcription inside my text messages app then open vvm up to delete the message or call into the vm to delete from there. Please fix this , this is still a problem and from what ive researched its been going on for a number of years now :(1.9KViews0likes5ComentariosBlock scam calls from leaving voicemail?
I have a Galaxy S10+ and Magenta Plus plan. I started receiving "Social Security" scam robocalls from a 520 area code number about a week ago, and suddenly in the last 2 days, they're calling me non-stop, literally every 30 to 60 minutes during the day. I blocked the number after the first couple instances but I'm still getting voicemail notifications and my VM is clogged with these scam robo messages. Is there a way to block the caller entirely so they can't leave voicemail? I saw on a couple other boards/threads that there are 3rd party apps that can do this but I don't want to have to install another app just to deal with this nuisance. BTW, when I first started getting the calls, I once let it play through the robocall message and it said it was putting me through to somebody. The guy who answered was very confused, so I hung up. The second time it was a guy who immediately started cursing at me. I then realized the number is bouncing me to others who think they're getting called from the scammer. So don't call the number back or stay on the line unless you want to perpetuate the scam... well, not so much a scam as some advanced but really dumb prank call game... or else a means of trying to flood our cell network in order to try to disable it?? Anyway, how do I block calls from a particular number from leaving VMs?Solved6.6KViews1like8Comentariosunauthorized request to change voicemail pin
I just received a text reporting that I had requested a new PIN for my voicemail. Problem is that I did not request it nor have I ever had one. (I don't want one now either! ) Should I worry about this being a scam or scam attempt?223Visto1like3ComentariosDid T-mobile stop offering voicemail to email?
I've had voicemail to emailfor years with T-mobile. It became unreliable about a year ago, and I recentlyopened a trouble ticket. Now I can only get voicemail to text, which is unacceptable. There is no option in my account for voicemail to email. Trouble Ticket # 76224582 is still unresolved. Anyone else experiencing asimilar fiasco?23Visto0likes0ComentariosVisual Voicemai Error — Not Enough Memory
When I try to use the Visual Voicemail app I get a warning that there is not enough memory with no additional information. The T-Mobile website recommends having 15% of one's memory free to run the Visual Voicemail app. Neither specifies whether they are referring to storage/disk memory or RAM. I am assuming it means storage memory, however I still have some questions. As for storage memory, a hard and fast rule of 15% is sort of useless as devices all have differing storage amounts. I have a micro SD card inserted for extra storage and can get a larger card whenever to free up space if Visual Voicemail requires internal storage space. As there is no information about what the error means or where space is required, it is difficult to know whether this will help. Also, the app seems to consistently have issues creating transcripts of messages and doesn't text/email my messages like the old Sprint visual voicemail feature did. That is frustrating for an app called "Visual" Voicemail. Both of these issues along with activation issues dominate the app reviews in the Google Play Store for the last few weeks and looks like it goes back to July. Some people report getting the memory error on new devices which seems old and sounds like device/Android version problems rather than a storage issue. The app's rating has dropped to just 2.6★ of 84,113 reviews with about 60% being one ★. Finally, and this one should go without saying, people must be able to forward the recording to storage by either saving them to their phone, sending them to email, or sharing a link that they can download on another device. The reviews are littered with folks who have lost messages from deceased loved ones when instructed to delete and reinstall the app. As many of the complaints also discuss difficulty with transferring messages or inconsistent responses from support about whether deleting will destroy such messages, it really needs to make clear how to backup the messages securely or guarantee them in a better way during support encounters. Are there plans to address these ongoing issues with Visual Voicemail? If so, what is the timeline to do so? Will it be equally fixed for all phones currently supported by the company?90Visto0likes0Comentarios
