Re: myq garage door opener wont connect on 2.4ghz band
Several months ago I put in the latest Chamberlin model. I'll save you lots of aggravation. You will never get your "Q" to link with the T-Mobile device. The only way is to get yourself a Router like the Dynalink. I had already purchased a router for Xfinity. https://www.amazon.com/Dynalink-DL-WRX36-8-Stream-Wireless-3-6Gbps/dp/B096K9SVCT/ref=sr_1_3?crid=5S8V69U83Y8R&keywords=dynalink&qid=1648574680&sprefix=dynalink%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-3 Plug your router into the back of the T-Mobile device. I named my new router a different name and password. After this I went through the process and looked for my new name and everything connected. It has worked perfectly without any issue.10Visto5likes0ComentariosRe: Suddenly slow home internet.
This has been a common issue for many of us. It is easy to fix. Turn off your gateway. ( push that little button in the back of the unit.) If you can unplug it from the wall too. Give it 2-5 minutes and restart. it will be back to what you expect. It the early morning while the house is sleeping and I get up and use the T-Mobile app on my phone, go to on the bottom "more" and hit reset gateway. This will reset your internet and clean out your components. This 5G phenomenon is so new and T-Mobile is rushing to get their network to be its best, it is all growing pains.18Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: myq garage door opener wont connect on 2.4ghz band
It is a simple problem. My Q does not see a modem/router, My-Q see's a T-Mobile telephone number, thus it see's a cell phone. It will never connect to matter what some one tells you. Lowes was coming back to tear out their install, I went through 3 Techs on the phone before the ? are you using a T-Mobile device.9Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Home Internet - force firmware update?
I was told recently by a T-Engineer to get the latest update, power off your tower for 30 minutes. After that time power the gateway back up. The gateway will automatically look for an update, if available it will down load it and install.21Visto1like0ComentariosRe: tmobile home internet keeps disconnecting
I did in fact have a problem like you described. We would lose our internet connection on and off. I disconnected my Netgear-Orbi 6 wifi mesh system and put it back in the box. I'm just using the T-Mobile Tower and it is working very good. Are you sure you are onSoftware Version:1.2101.00.1609. If you are not I was told to push the off button in the back of the tower, then unplug the unit. Wait 30 minutes and restart. This will make your tower run a check for any software that needs updating.31Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Connected, No Internet
I would do a factory reset. Do you know when you device was upgraded to the new version? Was it last 24 hours? This is the new Version:1.2103.00.0338, If its updated something could have caused an error. A total reset is the best way to clear that. If this first doesn't fix the problem, then you need a device replacement.Good luck to you.338Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Thermal Issues With Home Internet Gateway/Router as a Cause of Dropped/Slow Internet or Wi-Fi Connection
I used my hand held temperature and pointed it to my gateway. It read "HIGH" I bought this fan and set it to medium. Its very silent.I found this on Reddit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G059G86?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details When I point my Temperature back at the Tower it now says 90 degrees. You can plug the USB right in to the back of the router tower or put a little brick on the end. It really makes a difference. This fan is a very high quality/build device. I'm very happy with it.11Visto1like0ComentariosRe: how to improve signal and speed on home internet¿
You have nothing to lose but to try. I sent my "can" back, a few days latermy brother got one around the corner and he got great numbers. I re-ordered it. Meanwhile I watched every video on the net and I called T-Mobile and was transferredto a T-Mobile engineer, he told me the "can" doesn't like being in a window or direct sunlight, keep it away. My kitchen has 2 windows and putting it higher was the game changer. If you have a tall piece of furniture in your living room or dining room give it a try. It just may be perfect or close.12Visto1like0Comentarios
