Re: Data details
You would need to install a data usage monitoring and traffic analysis app on each of your devices. Alternately and if using your own router with the T-Mobile Home Internet gateway(s), you'd need a router that has traffic monitoring and analysis. Without knowing your requirements and specific operating environments, specific recommendations cannot be made.11Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: captcha
If referring to Google search, there's a lengthy thread discussing that specific issue at: https://community.t-mobile.com/troubleshooting%2D38/google%2Dblocking%2Dsearch%2D52786 Google blames T-Mobile, T-Mobile blames Google and you're stuck in the middle. Since it's easier to switch search engines than internet providers, try a different search engine while Google and T-Mobile work out their differences - DuckDuckGo is my preference and I use it as my default search engine in my browser(s). https://duckduckgo.com/ There's no shortage of alternate search engines; otherwise, it's as@gramps28 says - the site determines when captcha is presented.12Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Use existing router as an access point?
No, just suggesting setting it up as a router so you don't lose any of its features - as an access point you'll lose some features that are specific to that router. In both cases it starts with connecting your router's WAN port to one of the TMobile ethernet ports… See42Visto1like0ComentariosRe: ring duration
By changing the call forwarding delay time… See: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/self-service-short-codes **61*18056377243**seconds# Change call forwarding delay time. Elige un retardo de 5, 10, 15, hasta 30 segundos. For example, dialing **61*18056377243**10# would be a 10-second delay.34Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How To Opt Out Of The T-Mobile Forced Plan Migrations?
Calm down, folks. Unless you get an email or text from T-Mobile about forced migration, don't flood the support channels just yet. Your just hobbling those who may have real support issues. This is for the most part all speculation based on some leaked internal documents, but TMO could provide some clarification as this spirals. P.S. Here's an update from the primary leaker… https://tmo.report/2023/10/t-mobile-says-just-1-of-customers-will-be-impacted-by-forced-migration/ "We still highly recommend you do not contact T-Mobile to opt out unless you receive a notification of a pending plan change."40Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Does T-Mobile's Netflix login work for Roku?
You'll get an actual Netflix account, establishing your own login for the Netflix account (email and password) and you use it for anything you'd like subject to the plan's limitations and terms of service. Don't even have to be on a T Netflix simply bills TMO connection. for it, other than that it's a normal Netflix account. If you go beyond the basic plan you pay the differrence. I haven't got a ton of promos from Netflix after sign up but don't recall if I opted out when I did receive them.31Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Wireless Emergency Alert - Unable to understand the message
It was supposed to be broadcast in both English and Spanish according to the public notice at: https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-23-653A1.pdf Some tests are successful, some aren't. If referring to Windows displaying the connection as metered, it's a Windows setting for each network connection and varies by version. A google search on "metered connection Windows x" where x is your windows version, will point you in the proper direction. https://www.google.com/search?q=+metered+connection+windows Setting a metered/un-metered connection does change both WIndows and Windows app data usage behavior.0Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G Home Internet is available at your address - But spots are limited!
T-Mobile Home Internet runs on the extra capacity on their wireless network. In some areas, they have extra capacity on the network, in others they don't. They allocate access to Home Internet on a sector-by-sector, home-by-home basis. As extra capacity is added it is made available to TMHI - they project/estimate the number of additional users that can be supported. Once the extra capacity is exhausted, they quit adding new households. So it's a constantly shifting dynamic and it's important to note that TMHI users are prioritized last when capacity is exhausted during peak usage periods, which is why a constant complaint here is that TMHI started out great but a year later it's slow… T-Mobile oversold existing capacity in most cases.26Visto0likes0Comentarios
