Re: how to get more then 2 bars on my home internet gateway?
I was worried about only getting three bars until I read all these posts. The fact of the matter is that the ookla speed test reports that I'm getting 200mbs download and 20 upload so I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie. Also, when I called spectrum to cancel with them they gave me a $15 discount and an offer of 500mbs download. I have been told many times that this is what they do, give you a 12 month rate and then raise it, in this case from $50 to $70 without warning. When I pointed this out to the Rep he said, oh you need to get paper billing and then look on page 5 and you'll see where it states that. Seriously? Then he told me to expect bad or no signal during weather events which is interesting since I've had no trouble with T-Mobile 5G on my phone for the last two years and, frankly, have had no trouble with weather with any cell service I've ever had. I wasn't rude or even angry and I didn't hold the Rep responsible for the actions of his company, but I did take some small delight in pointing out that the only reason I was cancelling was because of this business practice and that I wouldn't stay signed up with them even if they charged less.10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: how to get more then 2 bars on my home internet gateway?

I can still get between 25 and 30 down and 5 to 8 up….which was fine for me since it blew Frontier out of the water. Wow, that doesn't say a lot good about Frontier. Are you out in the wilds?10Visto0likes0Comentarios
