Re: Ho to habe two SIMs for two devices (only one active at a time) under same phone number?
I think you are right @tidbits, @HeavenM! I believe thishttps://www.singtel.com/business/support/faq-closure-of-multisim article properly explains the situation (perhaps T-Mobile ought to have a similar article) and we would have had a much shorter discussion! So it seems that what I asked used to be very reasonable before but not so anymore! ThusI'll rest my case (at least for now) as I need to study and understand why the 5G system imposed the limitation to the simple (single device at a time) scenario I intended to do. Meanwhile perhaps you can investigate if there's some way of having an abridged (i.e. much less expensive) version of DIGITS that accomplishes what I intended to do or if you uncover a solution to the 5G dilemma. Thanks so much, Georg7Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Ho to habe two SIMs for two devices (only one active at a time) under same phone number?
Ok,@HeavenM, quite simply the DIGITS app (https://www.t-mobile.com/apps/t-mobile-digits) is absolutely useless to me, it's unnecessarily complex (hence the $10/month charge) and intended for multiple device shadowing. I was simply looking for a mechanism to switch between which SIM is active (either tacitly by powering down one phone before turning on the other or explicitly by a management web site/app). That's a simple service that perhaps you can charge $10/year. Anyhow, thanks very much!10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Ho to habe two SIMs for two devices (only one active at a time) under same phone number?
Who actually declared this case SOLVEDwhen it isn't? Apparently Verizon has a service where the subscriber declares which SIM is active:https://community.verizon.com/t5/Other-Phones/Can-I-get-a-second-SIM-card-for-the-same-phone-number/td-p/10380228Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Ho to habe two SIMs for two devices (only one active at a time) under same phone number?
No, @HeavenM. DIGITSis NOT the answer, I simply want to have one device at a time without swapping SIMs, not a complex proxy management system to handle multiple active devices at a time!9Visto0likes0Comentarios
