Re: Wfi Sucks
Where are you located? We are North of San Diego; the towers around here have been getting worked on since the first of December! Odd, that's the same time we signed up. Every time I complain, even to the USA Techs in New Mexico they send me a message, all is well, everything works now. All lies, I get less than 1-2mbps all day long, maybe a whole 5mbps in the evenings. I was promised 188-250mbps when I fell for the salesman's BS. Wish the customers that bought into this crap could force the head techs and CEO at T-Mobile to read these community posts all day. They never even check in here to see what's really going on in their company.6Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Why do my SharePoint links and files not open? (on T-Mobile 5G Home Internet)
Could be in the security of the MS applications? MS apps may not like the IP changing rapidly. As noted on other threads T-M flips the IP's really fast, that kicks people off of their web pages and apps. No use calling T-M support as you will end up offshore with someone that has no clue because it's not in their book of answers. I worked my way to a USATech in Albuquerque (T-M Headquarters). That helped answer a few questions I had, not on this issue. At least I could understand him, and he wasn't just reading from a book of answers. If you're using a VPN, MS apps can get confused and drop you thinking you are in Costa Rica, then Canada etc, when it knows you're in say Los Angeles. JMHO on all of this.3Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: ITS TIME TO SUE T-MOBILE BAD INTERNET SERVICE
When you file your suit, don't doit in all CAPS. People, even attorneys don't like being yelled at. Come back an let us know how much you won. Most class actions result in attorneys making millions. You will get a gift card to Starbucks.🙃4Visto1like0ComentariosRe: No 2.4 Ghz internet showing up with new T-Mobile internet
Which gateway did they give you? You should be able to change the settings using the mobile app. Network Settings » Advanced settings »frequency band »automatic. You can also change it to force 2.4 if you have to. 5.0 does not cover as far as 2.4.15Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Cannot get correct location from tower
Kind of like let the fun begin. For weeks T-Mobile Internet said I was in Puerto Rico (I'm near San Diego). Then they had me in mainland China. Figure that one out? So my browser brought up results in Spanish and Chinese etc…I changed my VPN to only use Los Angeles based virtual VPN Servers like USA Fast Line. Now web, email, everything at least thinks I'm at least in Los Angeles, USA! T-Mobile has some serious issues with their Internet service, the price is right so I just roll with it.😞12Visto1like0ComentariosRe: can anyone help me get better upload speed
Welcome to TMHI. If you chose to get the TMHI royal run around keep calling them. Their CSRs are in thePhilippines, their 2nd level techs are also in the Philippines. Their "Big Book of Answers" tells the CSR to claim to be your new best friend and they are going to fix everything and make your day wonderful. Lie #1, they have no ability to fix anything besides forward you to a Philippines based tech support. Lie #2, your new best friend tech can't access anything or fix anything. Their Big Book says to tell the poor smuck (us) that they have either forwarded your problem to a USA based tech or the catch all lie of "the tower is under maintenance or upgrade. If you go with the tower maintenance lie you will find that every single one of TMHI towers is either under maintenance or upgrade, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Every single tower on Earth. Only after you realize you have been duped and lied too, do you then track down a USA Tech in Albuquerque and find out what the truth really is with your issues. And come up with a plan to fix it or find another Internet provider. If you actually got what you're paying them for, you wouldn't be trying to get help. You would be gaming right now! ¡Buena suerte!8Visto1like0ComentariosRe: WLN 202
Just a thought as I have seen it before. Do you have a surge protector on your modem? (if not, get one) Anything else on that power plug? At 9:00am do you have a pool pump turn on? Maybe a heater on a timer? Anything that might cause a surge, spike or drop in current? It's a web interface bug, but T-Mobile really has no clue how to solve it. It seems to be attached to their firm wear updates. They will blame it on a"Network issue or outage" among other things. Some excuses could be spot on, others made up to get us off the phone. One CSR suggested it it is the internal power supply of the modem itself. Which would call for it getting swapped out at the T-Moble Store. Hope you can sort it out.20Visto1like0Comentarios
