We are so happy that you found your way into the new community. We're always looking for ways to improve your experience, so we did a little remodeling. The first step was updating the website's location to T-Mobile.com/community. If you have any bookmarks or saved links, it'd be a good idea to update those, so you never have to worry about getting misdirected or lost in cyber space. You may have also noticed that things might look a little different. We tried not to make any drastic changes, but little things like the icons, avatar bubbles, or a few other things have a different theme or may not be in the same place. Hi @badpiggA year is a very long time to wait for an update. The updates are ultimately rolled out by device manufacturers. They don't do it all at once, but it really should not have taken a year. There could have been some systematic confusion because the phone is from Verizon but being used on T-Mobile. The Samsung website has some troubleshooting steps to use when an update is released byt not showing on your phone.Software update failed on Galaxy phone or tablet. Hey there @LyzzJust checking in. Were you able to get things working while in Italy? Turning roaming on is a great first step. You may also want to make sure that there aren't blocking features on your account that prevent international use. If the only thing you have on your T-Mobile account is the internet, your account will not get text notifications. You'll get email notifications if you setup a T-Mobile ID, so that would be way easier to check than snail mail. Check outT-Mobile device unlock | T-Mobile Supportto see how to check your device unlock elibility on your T-Mobile account. You may need to do a software update since you are gettingCode 89. We see that code mentioned a lot on the forums, but T-Mobile doesn't return any codes like that during the unlock process, so I'm really not sure exactly what it means. If there is something preventing the phone from being eligible, you'll find that pretty easily in the steps on the website I linked above. I am so sorry @dmccallisterIt's a little tough to understand exactly what you are trying to get done. I think you're either trying to get your Metro service working or you are trying to trade in Metro phones to get T-Mobile service. Metro by T-Mobile is a "sister" company, so their plans and phones are theirs and separate from T-Mobile. If you want to reactivate your Metro account, you'll need to call 611 again. That number should work even if the line is suspended. You will not be able to use the T-Mobile refill card to pay your Metro account, so you'll need to have another payment method for that. If you want to trade in those phones and get T-Mobile service, then going to the T-Mobile store would probably be best. They can take a look at the phones and can usually get you setup with service within a few minutes and get you on your way.16Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Cannot Send SMS Messages
