@Daniel Boone, You can connect your TMO HI 5G gateway to a router with an Ethernet cable and connect your devices to the router’s Wi-Fi.

@sindyb, in the TMO HIapp, open the "Devices" tab (at the bottom). There, you shoud see listed all the devices currently connected to your network.

@nate_s, the Hint Control app in the Google Play Store allows you to disable the Wi-Fi. I've used it for my Arcadyan KVD212. I'm assuming it works with the G4AR gateway. https://play.google.com/store/search?q=hint+control+app&c=apps&hl=en_US&gl=US

@zplugger, rebooting the gateway might get it connect to your preferred band. If that doesn't do it, you might try moving and/or rotating a bit the gateway and then rebooting it.

@Themando82One cannot make changes to the connected devices names in the TMO HI app. I use the Android app Fing (in the Google Play Store) that allows you to do that.

@Nivlac, The power cord needs to be plugged into the bottom USB-C port in the back of the gateway and then the power button right next to the bottom USB-C port needs to be pressed. Here is the user manual for the Sagecom gateway: User Guide

@perchance, to get access to an external HD, it needs to be plugged into a router connected to The TMO gateway. You cannot access an external HD plugged directly into the TMO gateway,

@Rospo, no, the TMO internet app doesn't allow for the changing of connected devices name. It's definitely an inconvenience.
