Re: Auto Pay with credit cards ends
I don't even care for auto pay, I'm paying the $5.00 extra to not have it. I would not link a bank account to any company either. With a data hack, who knows what a bad actor could do with the banking details. I'm new to t mobile and am trying to find out what the snail mail t mobile billing center zip code is to set up my banks bill pay, they want it even though the payment is sent electronically. Better safe than sorry. scott.8Visto7likes0ComentariosRe: Not receiving texts from Verizon carriers!
CGB wrote: ChristieP-Sounds like you may have found the solution. I'm considering moving from Vz to T-Mobile. Has this fixed the texting issue? Voicemail okay? Any other issues or thought?. BTW do old contacts and text messages transfer over? Thanks. I moved from Verizon to T-Mobile 3months ago and I have not had any issues texting to and from Verizon customers, both Iphones and Android devices. My number was ported by the T-Mobile store associate and did so with no problems. Just FYI. I'm getting a lot more for my money with T-Mobile and I have found their customer service to be very good so far.As far as contacts and texts moving over, all of mine did, but I think that is a function of my Google drive account saving and syncing with my new phone. The only negative I have moving to T-Mobile is, there was a T-Mobile app pre-installed called AppManager I think. What a POS. It just automatically started downloading a hugenumber of games, (I hate these stupid games and don't allow them on my phone, ever) but I was able to completely uninstall the app and so farit hasn't returned. IMO, that is a terrible disservice to your customers to force such drivel on your phone without permission. Bloatware is a problem with Verizon as well, corporate greed i think. One more thing, the T-Mobile app is head and shoulders better than the Verizon app, unlike Verizon that put their advertising BS in front and make you search for your account info, T-Mobile's app is a nice app filled with your account info not advertising goods and services for padding their bottom line.16Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Auto Pay with credit cards ends
My BofA payment from my bill pay went through with no problem and I did receive a text from t mobile saying it was received and my account now shows a zero balance due. If you don't want to link a card or do auto pay, use your banks bill pay service. Those are 1 time payments that you send and no one can dip in each month.2Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Before we leave after 20 years
I had AT&T originally, and the signal was so poor, they let me out of my contract and I went to Verizon. Theirservice was okay, but expensive for what I was getting. I stayed with them for many years until recently, something changed on their end I think, and not just my phone, others as well. No signal most of the time. I called CS and their solution was to spend more money on another plan and buy another phone. No thanks to that. That brought me to T Mobile, lots better value than Verizon, and much better service. I guess it matters where you live and how much you want to spend. Like they say YMMV, but I've been pretty happy with T Mobile since I switched in March of this year. I hope you get a carrier that suits you and works. It's super frustrating when it doesn't.4Visto2likes0ComentariosGood service from T-Mobile so far
I came over from Verizon after 20 years or so because they didn't seem to care that I had been a good customer for so long. The last straw was when they raisedmy bill by $6.00 a month, just because, I guess. Their only remedy for me was to buy a more expensive plan. So I looked into T-Mobile and found the Magenta Max plan and had that for a couple of months and found it was more than I needed. One, 2 minute phone call (connected to Washington State) and I downgraded to Magenta from Magenta Max, no muss, no fuss. I just got my new bill and all the changes are correct. I had a VM problem, and again a quick 611 phone call and I connected with Albuquerque NM, again, a 1minute or so waitand talked with a nice man and he got with the engineers and said he would call me back in 2 hours, and he did. I've read so many horror stories here for the last 3 months about customer service, lying reps, etc. and was worried I would have a problem if I had an occasion to call with an issue. Just the opposite for me, better customer service than Verizon, much more plan for less money. If it keeps up like this I'll be a happy camper. I will add, that I went into a brick and mortar T-Mobile store to let them port my Verizon number which they did with no delay, I walked out with a new phone and my old number. A very competent lady there that knew her stuff. I just wanted to let others that might wonder about T-mobile service, it' not all bad. I have only had positive experiences so far. I'm not minimizing other'sproblems they've encountered, but perhaps they are the exception, not the rule. Time will tell I suppose. YMMV as always.40Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Anyone fed-up with horrible coverage from TMobile
ReadyToSwitch wrote: What I've learned, is that even Verizon customers are having trouble now with the 5G system updates. They are having the same issues. So, for now, might as well stay with T-Mobile and have better prices and customer service. If or when Verizon has less issues, then I will consider switching. All of this is about RF propagation and that's dependent on many things, basically where you are in relation to the transmitter source, obstructions, and how far away from it you are. I was on Verizon for many years, same location and a few months ago something changed on their end. Most of my phone calls were one sided at best and my 4G signal was down to an EDGE signal, I think the lowest until I got an X, no signal. I called Verizon on a borrowed phone and they said all is good, you just need a more expensive plan and a new phone. I didn'twant to chance it, and I moved over to T-Mobile, and I will say for the last 2 weeks all is good here. So far phone calls have been 100%, the free Moto 5 G5 works great, and I'm seeing decent 5G speeds on my unlimited plan for less money than my old Verizon2GB plan. Radio propagation isa finicky mistress.2Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Anyone else have horrible in store experiences?
No, just the opposite, I wanted to switch carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile last March of this year. I was a 20 year plus customer of Verizon and I was not sure how to port my number and I wanted a new phone to boot with no activation fee. So I went into a T-Mobile store picked at random, closest to me, and 30 minutes later I walked out with a new phone working better than my Verizon phone and an $18.00 / month cheaper plan withunlimited everything, plus hotspot data. 8 months later I'm still very happy with the plan and connectivity. I guess I was fortunate to work with a very competent and honest younglady that switched me over and waived the activation fee. I've found if you say you won't pay the activationthey will waive it to get a good credit account on the books. I hope you can get it sorted soon. IMO, for value, Verizon is the worst of the big three carriers. YMMV.7Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Online bill pay issue
I've been paying via my banks bill pay service, it sends it electronically, and for the last 1 year I've been a customer it always processes quickly. I don't get a $5.00 dollar discount, but it's worth not giving up any bank details. I paid Verizon the same way. Maybe another option for paying your bill.19Visto1like0Comentarios
