Bellevue, Wash. — Oct. 31, 2012

Today, T-Mobile is taking additional steps to help our customers who have been affected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts are with all our customers who have been impacted by the storm.

T-Mobile knows that the most important and immediate thing we can do is to restore service as quickly as possible to the hardest hit areas, and we continue to focus on that significant effort. At the same time, we know that there are many things we can do to try to make life easier for some of our customers during this time of emergency. To that end, T-Mobile has taken unusual and new steps to help our customers.

T-Mobile is ensuring that all our customers in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, whether contract or prepaid customers, continue to be able to use their service regardless of any inability to make payments on their accounts, until Nov. 8.

As T-Mobile opens its stores, and in those that have power, everyone is welcome to come in and charge their mobile phones. Customers should call their nearest store ahead of time to be sure it is open and has power. A store locator can be found on T-Mobile’s website at http://www.es.T-Mobile.com
