Company pairs small business plans with free 'Business Extras' bundle valued at more than $400

Bellevue, Wash. — April 29, 2013 — T-Mobile USA, Inc. today announced the extension of its recently unveiled Simple Choice plan to America's small businesses. Now, small business customers can alleviate the pain, complexity and cost of wireless mobility with an affordable plan for unlimited talk, text and Web; freedom from annual service contracts; and the ability to get our most popular smartphones whenever they want for the lowest upfront cost at activation. The company's "Business Extras" bundle, also detailed today, can help small businesses save money and find additional productivity gains via free business-focused capabilities or solutions valued at more than $400.

"Entrepreneurs and small business owners are constantly juggling many roles. The have limited time and resources to wade through confusing contracts, decipher restrictive upgrade policies or interpret data limits and expensive overages," said Milan Ruzicka, vice president, B2B marketing at T-Mobile USA, Inc. "With our Simple Choice for Business plan, we make it simple and more predictable. Furthermore, with our Business Extras, we can help small businesses save more money and find additional productivity, thereby allowing them to focus on what they do best - running their businesses."

Simple Choice for Business Plan

In a December 2012 survey of small business owners conducted by Gerson Lehrman, more than 90 percent of respondents believe the overall costs associated with wireless mobility are too high and 87 percent were concerned about how increasing data usage would impact monthly bills. Among the top five priorities over the next year, 95 percent of small business owners will look to reduce wireless costs and 90 percent will look to reduce the wireless costs associated with data usage.

Like the "radically simple" consumer Simple Choice plan, the Simple Choice for Business plan allows customers to select their plan based on the number of lines and amount of high-speed data required. Unlimited talk, text and Web with up to 500MB of high-speed data is $50 per month for the first line. Customers can add a second phone line for $30 per month, and each additional line is just $10 per month. They can also add up to 2 GB of high-speed data for $10 per month more per line. The Unlimited 4G data option is only $20 more per month per line. Predictable billing. Sin restricciones. Sin excedentes.

For small business customers, the freedom from restrictive annual service contracts can mean more flexibility with how they buy and use wireless devices. With T-Mobile's Simple Choice approach, customers can purchase great devices, pay for them in affordable, interest-free monthly installments, and upgrade anytime they like. Customers can even use their own unlocked device.

Opciones para negocios

Offered to any small business customer who activates a new line or renews an existing line of service (min. 500 MB data plan required) before Sept. 30, 2013, T-Mobile's Business Extras bundle can provide added value, allowing customers with capable devices to access business-focused capabilities or solutions, like 24/7 remote IT support and paper-to-mobile forms conversion, valued at more than $400 for free.

For small businesses, access to 24/7 phone and online support of cell phones, tablets, PCs and attached peripherals can help solve most technical problems. Instead of paying for expensive onsite IT service calls, small business customers with Business Extras can take advantage of a full year of remote office support services from well-recognized, third-party service provider. Normally selling for $24.95 per month with a $99 activation fee, this service can save small businesses time and money, and it frees small business owners from their ad hoc role as IT support person.

As small businesses look to increase productivity and eliminate extra costs, mobile applications can help. On top of virtually unlimited access to thousands of pre-built applications for a 30-day period, a subscription service that helps businesses replace paper forms with mobile applications, will provide T-Mobile small business customers with two paper-to-mobile form conversions for free - a savings of approximately $120.

For Business Extras customers, T-Mobile also offers waived activation fees, dedicated Business Care support, Wi-Fi Calling on enabled devices, and free Smartphone Mobile HotSpot on select rate plans – providing additional productivity and savings.
