Selling a unused T-mobile phone with pending payments
I have a new Samsung phone that I am not planning to use. It still have pending payments with t-mobile monthly credit. My friend is also switching to T-mobile under his own new account. Can I offer my phone to him and can he use it with BYOD option? I would continue to make the payments until its get full paid.
You can, but keep in mind he can't unlock the device until it's paid off. Also if you ever cancel or switch carriers without paying for the device it will be blacklisted and he can't use it any more as well.
