Re: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!
Oh yes, I ditched Samsung long ago. Note 10 did it for me...it was the most cheap feeling device I ever paid and returned it, tried OnePlus and been in love with it since. Though I'm keeping my options of course. Who knows, one day Microsoft may make a big comeback and we all go back running Windows again on our phones😂10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!
I feel most carriers aren't being competitive enough with their offerings at this point...sure, I can just buy it and insert the SIM if it's compatible but...it's like they're spitting out a new model every 8-10 months with very little upgrade to entice me enough personally. I'm surprised you say Pixel; I haven't honestly considered it with all the reviews out there.11Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!

Android 12 wasn't great when it was released but is slowly being fixed. However, then you throw the mess of the Oxygen OS base being merged with OPPO's Color OS that has caused problems on top of problems. So much so, Android 13 will revert to a straight Oxygen OS feeling with no code from Color OS at all. I just hope they don't eff it up further in the future...just have a really bad taste with Android even though I don't think I can ever switch to Apple. I miss LG, HTC, and wish these cell companies would offer more brands. Xiaomi for example. But I'm sure there's all sorts of red flag, gov, Chinese this, and who knows what sort of deals these companies offer T-Mo to keep their brands *cough*10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!

I thought they built their own ROM's based on Android...the reason why it's also difficult to patch & update anything with T-Mo's version.11Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!
Okay, at this point, I thought, this new update from few days ago cannot be any more disappointing so… I WIPED again before I did any update. If YouTube is causing any issue, I would wipe it. It sucks but at this point I've done 4-5 factory reset and feel like it's the only way to really tell if it's still broken or not. 48 hours later, it's good so far. I use YouTube daily (I'm a YouTuber also like...so many lol). I did disable most Google products other than the Maps, Gmail, etc. I haven't had any issues yet. Though one thing I haven't loaded & configured is Tasker. It's such a pain either way and just shocked IT TOOK THIS LONG for T-Mo to get this update to be I'll just say somewhat stable as it's obviously isn't for everyone.12Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!

The phone becomes inoperable until you restart it and this is a brand new phone from a T Mobile store just a few days after use. So like I said I warrantied it, got a new one - SAME PROBLEMS. The screen will go max brightness on its own, flicker, the fingerprint reader goes all white and will not read fingerprints. This is disturbing as this new warrantied phone is just a couple days old out of the box with the same issues. I'll be going back to Samsung if this doesn't get fixed soon. I do business on my phone and I pay good money and been with T-Mobile for over a decade and this is not acceptable. Ya a new phone should never have an issue like that; I'd be ticked off. T-Mo hasn't been the same after COVID especially. They've gone from good to horrible. I miss the old customer service that was friendly and personable. Something has changed over at T-Mo. I'd get a completely different platform if it's acceptable; not sure if Samsung has the same issue but this is by far the worst OS update I've seen in years. Nothing this bad. And T-Mo doesn't seem to care other than their scripted answers.20Visto4likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!
I switched mine back to OnePlus 7T. Slightly smaller but now that it's unlocked bootloader wise, I can do whatever I want with it. Plus I always hated this stupid curved glass that does nothing once you put a screen protector. T-Mo really dropped a ball on this one. I miss the good 'ol days when Sprint SERO was $30/month and upgrade was super cheap😅18Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Android 12 Oxygen 12 updated for OnePlus 9 Pro has MAJOR BUGS & ISSUES!!!!!!
Jamesbp106 wrote: C. 18 update has massive bugs with display. If I play hdr video it breaks my fingerprint, and puts display to 100% brightness can't change it, flickering, stuttering. Very scary to see almost looks like hardware issue but only appeared after update. This can't be good for the display!! Yep. I created my own thread but the only way I've found to fix this issue is wipe to factory default BUT you cannot enable fingerprint or any biometrics. Only pins. So since I've had enough, I finally was able to figure out a way to get the unlock PIN to request OnePlus to send me the unlock code so I can just void the warranty (which is a joke anyway) and upload my own custom ROM.10Visto1like0Comentarios
