Hidden phone number
Can I make my phone number anonymous when I call someone? I dont want them to see my phone number. No caller ID on their side will know my phone number. Gracias
*67 then dial but it will probably come up at anonymous and if the person you call is like me they won't pick up.
Hey there. You can change your caller id settings to hide your name, but the phone number will still show up. Usually, when you turn off your outbound caller id, then the phone number is accompanied by the city and state for your phone number.
To block both name and number, the only option is gramps28's suggestion of dialing *67+phonenumber. It does not hide your information if you are calling 911, 900 numbers, or toll-free numbers, so just keep that in mind. You would have to do this for every phone call you make since it is not a full settings change.
