128 Incoming on Messaging Log

Can someone explain what the 128 incoming text message is that I am seeing on my usage log? It's only incoming, as the lines on my account do not text that number.

¡Gracias!

  • Yes. I have two phones on my account and 128 & 2300 show up on both.

  • Was on the phone with T-Mobile last night customer service.  They just give you a runaround a bunch of different excuses. Told the guy I didn't have binge service and then he said OK well it's my voicemail to text, which I don't have that either then he proceeded to say don't worry about it. You're not getting billed for it so no reasoning at all

I keep seeing the code 128 incoming text on husbands bill but not mine what is it

  • 2300 is when a blocked #is trying to make contact that's why they are always incoming if they're out going

. I haven't ever seen but my over thinking would say if ita blocked they are just typing the number rather then the contact

I would seriously look into the safety checks for whatever accounts they are showing up for. Sounds like someone is trying to get into your account not realizing you have 2factor authentication on.

  • 2300 is absolutely blocked numbers! 128, still no idea, how ever makes sense WHATSAPP

  • 128 text message on a T-Mobile account usually appears when a user receives a voicemail notification or calls their voicemail.

2300 appears when a user receives a picture, screenshot, or GIF, sends a picture, screenshot, or GIF to another T-Mobile user, or is part of a group message where photos, screenshots, or GIFs were shared
