change of price
I was happy for almost 3 years with T-Mobile and I was on a plan that was lifetime warranted… we are a family of 4 and were paying 130 per month on Magenta. Unfortunately, the trust was broken in May when I received an increase without warning. When I called, the representative told me that she had good news for me because I was older than 55. She said that instead of increasing my rate, it would be even cheaper at 111 dollars per month. I was really happy and thanked her. But it was not true, my next bill was still more expensive, so I called again in June. This time, I explained that I felt betrayed and lied to and that I wouldn't stay with T-Mobile unless my discounted rate would be restored. So the representative gave me an even bigger discount for 20 dollars per line and with the add-ins, my bill was 89 dollars. That was perfect, but recently I received a bill of 214 dollars and my plan was changed without my consent. I was so angry that I called from France where I am now in vacation. After making me wait for almost 2 hours, I got a temporary discount for all my troubles and talked to a so-called supervisor who told me that the discount I was offered didn't exist and that the best he could do for me was to restore my old 130 dollars rate for Magenta plan. I was unhappy but couldn't get anything better from him, so I accepted. He told me that it would take several minutes to reflect on my bill but that he did it for sure. So I hung up, exhausted, and looked a few hours later at my account but unfortunately, he didn't give me back my old rate but a more expensive one! Just for Magenta! I don't know what to do anymore! We have been loyal customers and always paid our bills on time so I don't understand why we are treated this way. Right now I am still in France and plan to find a new provider when I return to the States, but just in case I have been unlucky lately with representatives who have been either lying to me or give me fake information, I would like to try once more if someone at T-Mobile is willing to keep our business and treat us well like it was in the past. Let me know.
all the best,
karine, sad customer
