permanent unlock for international usage
wife gave me her phone but forgot to unlock it for being able to be used in a different country.
Is your wife a T-mobile USA customer? Does the device and her account meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements?

If so. She will need to contact T-Mobile to verify that all requirements have been met and to request the SIM unlock.
then youre wife will need to contact TMO to have it unlocked.
