Internationally Blocked

I trust that you are well

I am sending this message from Sunny South Africa. My uncle has just recently got back from vacation in Australia. He surprised me with a new Iphone 15 that he purchased over E-Bay. To our surprise, the phone is internationally blocked and as far as I am aware, it's still in contract with T-Mobile USA. I have purchased an eSim as needed but cannot activate it until the phone is unblocked by T-Mobile. Please can you assist in the process going forward.

    Send it back to the seller if it was sold as unlocked. Tmobile won't be able to help if it's still on a payment plan.
