@206-369-5787 you need to make sure your laptop is getting internet access through your Archer router.
Can your laptop connect to the router via Wi-Fi?
Can you connect the laptop to the router via Ethernet cable?
To test the connection, take an Ethernet cable and plug it into your router. Reboot the laptop and confirm you have internet access. Your resolution may look something like this setup. You may need to install another Ethernet cable from upstairs to downstairs?
