T-Mobile Home Internet is Down in Woodland Hills, CA.
Home Internet is still down for the past 4 days. Phone calls are useless since technical support has no clue on what is happening and best they can offer is to restart the router. No help in sight!AlexGHace 23 horasVisitante27Visto0likes0ComentariosTroubleshooting Slow Connection and Hotspot Issues on T-Mobile Internet
Hi T-Mobile Community, I've been experiencing ongoing issues with my T-Mobile internet, especially concerning my home and business internet connection. My laptop frequently drops the connection or has very slow speeds, even though I have a full signal on my phone's hotspot. I've had no issues before, but starting in November, this problem has become constant. I've checked all the usual fixes resetting the router, rebooting my devices, and even resetting my hotspot settings but nothing seems to work. I rely heavily on the internet for work, especially on my 14 inch AMD laptop, and this problem is really starting to affect productivity. Whether I'm using the internet at home or through a hotspot, the connection is slow and unreliable. Has anyone else faced similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions for getting my T-Mobile internet back to normal? Is there a specific setting I need to change, or could there be an issue on T-Mobile's end that's causing these slow speeds? Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!harrycmaryHace 5 díasNewbie Caller148Visto3likes1ComentarioOptimizing Performance and Security for Remote Team Collaboration Using T-Mobile's Network Solutions
Hello T-Mobile Community, I'm currently overseeing a remote team using T-Mobile's network solutions, and we're experiencing occasional performance lags during video conferencing and large file transfers. We've deployed several cloud-based tools and a Red Hat server to manage data remotely, but there seems to be a connection bottleneck at times. Has anyone else faced similar challenges with large-scale remote work setups, especially when using T-Mobile's services for high-bandwidth tasks? I've considered optimizing network settings on our Red Hat server to handle the increased load, but I'm curious if there are specific T-Mobile network configurations or support services that could enhance overall speed and reliability. Would appreciate any advice or insights from the community, especially on maximizing 5G capabilities for seamless remote work. ¡Gracias!Olivia_BarnHace 5 díasNetwork Novice57Visto0likes0ComentariosConditional Call Forwarding - DISASTER
T-mobile does NOT have conditional call forwarding. The codes don't work. Phone reset doesn't work. Network reset doesn't work. Technical engineers setting it up - doesn't work. Bought a new iphone 16 pro max - still doesn't work. Every other provider doesn't have this issue with conditional call forwarding. T-mobile bring back the old setup you used to have for conditional call forwarding.amir1107Hace 6 díasNetwork Novice54Visto0likes1Comentario- dennis3033Hace 10 díasNewbie Caller202Visto1like2Comentarios
tmomail.net (email-to-SMS) is GONE?
I've used email to ##########@tmomail.net to sent text messages to my T-mobile number for YEARS. It began to fail intermittently around 15-Nov-2024, then completely today 14-Dec-2024. I did not investigate the problem before today. As of right now, it appears the tmomail.net address no longer has an IP number! ping tmomail.net Ping request could not find host tmomail.net. Please check the name and try again. I verified this no-number state with Comcast DNS, Google DNS, Level3.net DNS, and even 1.1.1.1 DNS. This is not the Google email-to-SMS problem that many others have reported as I send the emails via Comcast SMTP. All of the failures are documented by mailer-daemon@comcast.net This is rather crappy treatment of T-Mobile customers. If you want to discontinue a service that we use, let us know. For an email-to-SMS service, maybe send us a text? Let us know what you're offering instead? Or maybe you want us to explore options with another provider?KevOmaticHace 10 díasNewbie Caller153Visto1like2ComentariosIncorrect DNS configuration?
I recently got T-Mobile home internet. The gateway device is a Sagemcom FAST5688W. When attaching devices to Wifi, sometimes my devices are getting delayed connectivity to the Internet. After investigating the network configuration being provided to the WiFi device from the gateway, I noticed what appear to be DNS servers that aren't responding to queries. Here is an example device network configuation: And here is testing of the DNS servers. The last one is an IPv6 test I believe of the 5688W: $ nslookup > server 192.168.12.1 Default server: 192.168.12.1 Address: 192.168.12.1#53 > www.t-mobile.com Server: 192.168.12.1 Address: 192.168.12.1#53 Non-authoritative answer: www.t-mobile.com canonical name = www.t-mobile.com.edgekey.net. www.t-mobile.com.edgekey.net canonical name = e71824.dsca.akamaiedge.net. Here's a suggestion for a program T-Mobile could consider implementing to encourage customers to pay their bills annually. ### Program Name: **T-Mobile Annual Rewards Plan** #### Overview: The T-Mobile Annual Rewards Plan offers customers a discount on their monthly service fees when they choose to pay their bill annually. This initiative not only encourages greater customer loyalty but also improves cash flow for T-Mobile. #### Program Details: 1. **Discount Structure:** - Offer a **10-15% discount** on the total annual bill for customers who commit to paying in advance for a year. - Include additional incentives such as a one-time account credit or a discount on accessories or devices if they sign up for the program. 2. **Eligibility:** - Available for all postpaid customers, including individuals and families. - Should be open to both existing customers (with a simple opt-in process) and new customers. 3. **Payment Options:** - Provide flexible payment options, such as paying the full amount upfront and offering the option to divide the annual payment into monthly installments if desired. 4. **Promotional Campaign:** - Launch an awareness campaign showcasing the benefits of the program through digital marketing, social media, and email marketing. - Create promotional events where customers can learn about the program in stores. 5. **Loyalty Bonus:** - For customers who renew their annual plan after the first year, offer a **loyalty bonus** such as an increased discount or a special promotion on account upgrades or device purchases. 6. **Easy Enrollment Process:** - Ensure that the enrollment process is straightforward, allowing customers to sign up through the T-Mobile app, website, or in-store. 7. **Customer Support:** - Provide dedicated customer support to assist customers with the program, answering questions and guiding them through the enrollment process. #### Benefits to T-Mobile: - **Improved Cash Flow:** Collecting payments upfront can improve cash flow stability. - **Customer Retention:** Offering discounts encourages customers to stay with T-Mobile longer. - **Increased Revenue:** The program could lead to an increase in overall revenue through higher customer satisfaction and referrals. #### Feedback Mechanism: - Implement a feedback system for customers enrolled in the program to assess satisfaction and make necessary adjustments to enhance the program. This proposed program not only creates a win-win scenario for T-Mobile and its customers but also strengthens customer relationships and increases overall engagement.djoserHace 12 díasNetwork Novice44Visto0likes0ComentariosT life app sucks
